Plot : Gina (Krysten Ritter) mourns in her house where she found her deceased father. They policemen ask her if her father had any enemies and she he didn’t. They found this box of old police stuff and she recognizes the Gerald case clippings. She starts to think about everything Gerald told him about his mysterious time travel, and she’s confused. Either Gerald or the mysterious man with the long white hair could have been after her father. She’s confused, but looking for answers. They give her a few days off to deal with the loss of her father.

Gerald (Brendan Fraser) and Charles (Logan Lerman) are standing on a porch with another Google search with a picture on it. Their research is more difficult this time, working only with one name; Logan. From the looks on the picture, he looks like a monk of some sort and he appears to be controversial given the search results they had. They concentrate their search to churches and buildings that look like churches or monasteries. They were able to narrow down their results to two addresses thanks to Marco’s (Owen Vaccaro) tech wizardry. They are at the first address and knock on the door. Father Logan (John de Lancie) answers. He asks if he can help them today and after Charles looks at the picture, he sure hopes he can.

Mary (Cara Buono) still not over the fact that her beloved Sarah (Odeya Rush) is pregnant and out of wedlock at last! She went over to Rita’s (Yaya Da Costa) who lives a block away to vent a little about her situation. She says the family is low on money and what will people think when Sarah gives birth without a husband. Rita says she can’t help her with her convictions, but people don’t care if you’re wed or not anymore, we’re not in the fifties and Mary suddenly remembers that the culture changed and it was a mistake coming to Rita, the definition of wild in Mary’s dictionary for advice. She says Sarah told her back at the camping and she’s sure she’ll make a wonderful mother, she’s so pretty. She asks Mary if she knows the father, but she doesn’t. While Rita can’t help her for her moral conflict, she offers Mary a job where she works. Mary, taken aback and nowhere to hide after revealing her family is having financial problems accepts. Rita says she’ll come by tomorrow at eight o’clock to take her there and she better not be late.

Father Logan invites Charles and Gerald in. He asks how he may be of assistance today and Gerald and Charles don’t really know what to say. Gerald says they saw a list with his name on it and there name was on it too, so they think he could be connected to what’s happening to them. Father Logan’s attention is drawn to Chartwell’s book Charles always brings with him. Logan takes it and points out that they are mixed with some bad apples. Gerald asks him he can help them decode the gibberish inside and Logan is afraid he might. He asks him what he means by that and he says they are right, he may be connected to them after all, dodging the question. Father Logan grabs the book and he says it contains ancient formulas that can be dangerous if placed in the wrong hands. He won’t ask them where they got it, but rest assured, it’s for everyone’s best interest if it stays here with him. Gerald says they got it from Chartwell’s hideout and Logan turns white. He asks them to leave, he thinks they are working for Chartwell and are out to get him. He throws them out and says that no one can pronounce this name in his house. He wishes them well and wishes to never see them again. Charles asks if they can get their book back and he says they can’t. It belongs to him now.

Judy (Jodelle Ferland) joins Sarah (Odeya Rush) who is laying in the grass in the backyard. Sarah refuses to talk to her. Judy lost her trust when she made her mother find out about the baby even though she specifically told her to not tell her. Judy reminds her that she didn’t say anything, she just installed a crib in her room. Sarah says that it was more than enough so her mother would know. She’s really strict and she bets she really hates her now. What will Sarah will become? Mary must see her like a whore now. Judy asks her if she was able to find the father with the magic machine (computer) and she shows her a picture. They are interrupted by Horace (M. Emmet Walsh) who wants to enter the shed behind the house, but the door is jammed. He requests the girls’ help because he doesn’t want to break anything and go back to the hospital, it was scary and he didn’t like any of it. Sarah and Judy get closer and they hear something inside, but can’t quite put the finger on what it is. It could be a new thing they don’t know exists. They work together and bust the door open. They find a gagged Steven (Graham Phillips) inside. Mary, who came back to the house at the same time, don’t know what’s happening. Gerald and Charles pull over in the front lawn. They figure out they’ll have some explaining to do.

Everyone is back inside and Steven is sitting at the table. Mary gave him a warm meal she cooked in the magic box (microwave) and a glass of water. She asks her husband what the hell is going on in this house, it’s even more fucked up than usual. Steven still think he was kidnapped (he was), but Gerald just says they were looking for his help and he wanted to flee. Steven wants to know how they found him and Gerald says they found it through the magic machine. Marco corrects him and he says it’s called a computer. Gerald tells Steven to believe his son, he’s like some sort of wizard with these magical things. Steven looks at them and the way they talk and behave. He looks at the retro clothes they are wearing today and the omnipresence of catholic image in their household. He can’t look over the fact that a grown man called a computer a magic machine in 2019. He asks Gerald and his family if they travelled in time and Gerald says he did and they need his help to go back to 1964, where they belong. Steven starts to laugh and he says that’s a good prank. They got him, they can stop now. He sees that they remain serious and says: “Holy shit! You are time travellers!”
