For Your Consideration.... Best Actor

I'm Harry Wright and welcome to the first ever For Your Consideration segment of Last Resort Television. As we prepare for the 1st Golden Views Awards, I thought it was a great idea to give you a little reminder of the roles played by the lead actors that will be featured in the nomination ballot.


Stephen McHattie - Brimstone
Stephen McHattie plays Tremaine, the head of the Brimstone Society. One of the few human Rayne truly cares for, Tremaine took Rayne under his wing and they both worked together to find Kagan, the vampire king, that Tremaine chased for years


Dan Stevens - Drive
Dan Stevens plays the ruthless Driver in Drive. Fueled by his passionate and uncontrolable desire to avenge the death of his girlfriend at the hands of the villainous Mr. S, the Driver goes on a rampage and nothing can stop him on his quest for revenge.


Josh Duhamel - Gauntlet
Josh Duhamel plays the aging quarterback of the Memphis Pharaohs Tim Collins, in Gauntlet. Boyfriend to the city's mayor, which may appear as a conflict of interest and a do-or-die season plagued by injuries and leadership problems, Collins leaves it all out on the field.


William Fichtner - Gauntlet
William Fichtner plays Ken Heath, the coach of the Memphis Pharoahs, in Gauntlet. Heath's talent and leadership are put to the test in a drama-filled season that could very well be the last for the franchise and he's under scrutiny from the mayor, the owner and the league commisionner. He can be controversial, but Ken Heath plays his own game.


Ed Skrein - Hitman
Ed Skrein plays the ruthless and cold-blodded Agent 47, in Hitman. Torn by his traumatizing past and his strong desire for truth and freedom, 47 will do everything to eliminate his target like only he can and he will always get the job done, but at what price?


Ezra Miller - Lady of the House


Ezra Miller plays the former factory worker turned pulp novel author Otto Struber, in Lady of the House. He conquered Polly's heart and satisfied her needs and thanks to that, she took him under her wings and left his life behind to go into hiding to pursue his dreams to become an author.


Tobey Maguire - Leaving Everything
Tobey Maguire plays painter Marcel Barbeau, a social activist and ungrateful father, in Leaving Everything. His strong desire for more artistic freedom will backfire and will cost him everything he owns, but he was determined to combine both his artistic dreams with his family, but his wife, Suzanne, chose otherwise.


Josh Holloway - Miami Vice
Josh Holloway plays Sonny Crockett, the Miami Police Department detective, in Miami Vice. Crockett is not the type of guy to shy away from a dangerous situation and, coupled with an astonishing self-confidence make him one of the best cop Metro-Dade has to offer. Every criminal are on their toes, when Crockett is after them.


Taye Diggs - Miami Vice
Taye Diggs plays Ricardo Tubbs, the Miami Police Department detective, in Miami Vice. Tubbs starts off as an undercover DEA agent in New York, staking out a drug dealer named Calderone. His first contact with Crockett didn't go as planned, but they are now on the same page and as a duo, working towards a common goal, they are truly, unstoppable.

Adam Beach - Nez Perce
Adam Beach plays the chief of the Nez Perce tribe, Joseph, in Nez Perce. Chief Joseph takes over from his father after he passes and his leadership proves to be challenging, but mentally and physically. His decisions are polarizing for the tribe as they go through the toughest time the Nez Perce have ever faced.


Matthew Rhys - Nez Perce
Matthew Rhys plays General Oliver O. Howard, in Nez Perce. A one-armed Civil War veteran, Howard has been through some tough times and now, he's tasked to move the Nez Perce tribe. The task proves to be more difficult than originally thought. He tries to negotiate peacefully, but things degenerate and Howard is forced to come back and retaliate.


Josh Hartnett - Rolling Stone
Josh Hartnett plays the determined Rolling Stone journalist Brady Conroy, in Rolling Stone. Sex, drugs and rock and roll are an integral part of his lifestyle in the 1970's California and his job will see him alongside famous popular icons. A womanizer at heart, but unable to commit to a serious relationship, Brady finally decides to settle down, once he meets Celeste.

Holland Roden - Brimstone
Holland Roden plays the dhampir Rayne, an agent of the Brimstone Society, in Brimstone. She must fight her vampire father and his offspring while defending her friends and fighting to survive.

Lesley Manville - Call My Agent
Lesley Manville is the manager of the Jones Agency Miranda Jones. Uptight, incompetent and contemptuous at first, she tries her best to turn into a better person thanks the help of her colleagues.

Charlotte Riley - Hitman
Charlotte Riley is Diana, the mysterious but caring handler of 47 in Hitman. Her attention to detail and talent at her job makes her the perfect fit for the most ruthless 47.

Linda Cardellini - Lady of the House
Linda Cardellini is the femme fatale and socialite Polly Reisinger in Lady of the House. Combining wit, charm and humor, Polly is the complete opposite of her husband, who she desperately tries to get rid of.

Rebecca Hall - Leaving Everything
Rebecca Hall is the mysterious and peculiar Suzanne in Leaving Everything, in which she plays a woman who makes tough life decisions not thinking about the effects of those around her in her constant quest to freedom.

Aimee Teegarden - Rolling Stone
Aimee Teegarden is the young student Brady is having a relationship with, Celeste, in Rolling Stone. Sex-loving and easy-going, she does her best to keep the relationship strong all the while being an unexpected good help for Brady

For Your Consideration.... Best Supporting Actor (Part 2)

I'm Harry Wright and welcome to the first ever For Your Consideration segment of Last Resort Television. As we prepare for the 1st Golden Views Awards, I thought it was a great idea to give you a little reminder of the roles played by the supporting actors that will be featured in the nomination ballot. Here's the second part.

Alfred Molina - Lady of the House
Alfred Molina plays Frank Reisinger, the conservative and over-zealous husband of Polly Reisinger, in Lady of the House. Frank manages his own factory and all his success in the business side of his life doesn't translate to his personal life. 

Vincent Kartheiser - Lady of the House
Vincent Kartheiser plays Roy Joseph, the Reisingers' new neighbour, in Lady of the House. Not really sure of himself and lacking the confidence that Frank possesses, the time he shares with the Reisingers often feels awkward due to how different they are, even if Roy tries to up himself to Frank's level.

Colm Feore - Leaving Everything
Colm Feore plays French Canadian painter Paul-Emile Borduas, in Leaving Everything. The pillar of the cultural and artistic movement trying to free the province from its ultra-conservative government, Borduas' actions put him under scrutiny, but his desire to have a full artistic freedom will force to flee, to go in exile, alongside his students, who see him as their mentor.

Lance Henriksen - Leaving Everything
Lance Henriksen plays Francis, Anna's uncle and Marcel's son, in Leaving Everything. Francis was hospitalized from a young age after he never managed to get over the disappearance of both his father and mother. When he meets with Anna, his niece, the first family member to care about him for a long time, he starts to get better as he starts to cope with his devastating past.

Andy Garcia - Miami Vice
Andy Garcia plays Lt. Martin Castillo, in Miami Vice. After the previous lieutenant is killed on duty, Martin Castillo is hired as the new lieutenant. Professional and serious, Castillo just wants to do his job and will protect his officers no matter what. His past comes back to haunt him, from the time he was working in the Golden Triangle when he sees his long lost wife again and an old enemy of his.

Brad William Henke - Miami Vice
Brad William Henke plays Stan Switek, a colleague of Crockett and Tubbs, in Miami Vice. Partnering with Larry Zito, Switek forms the third duo of the Miami Police Department alongside Crockett and Tubbs and Gina and Trudy. Often providing backup for our two main characters, Switek is a brute, but still a good cop.

Gil Birmingham - Nez Perce
Gil Birmingham plays Toohoolhoolzote, a senior member of the tribe, in Nez Perce. His name may be hard to pronounce and spell, but Toohoolhoolzote will be remembered. One of Chief Joseph's brothers, Toohoolhoolzote is captured by Howard, which triggers his hatred towards the Americans. He's one the Nez Perce that leads a group of warriors in the confrontations.

Martin Sensmeier - Nez Perce
Martin Sensmeier plays Ollokot, one of Chief Joseph's brothers, in Nez Perce. Ollokot is the one to stand by his brother's side no matter what and accompanies him in his desire to avoid a war with the white men. His stubbornness about standing by his brother creates tension within the tribe that Ollokot has to deal with.

James Urbaniak - Rolling Stone
James Urbaniak plays Ralph J. Gleason, a consulting editor for the Rolling Stone magazine, in Rolling Stone. Gleason seems to take a liking to Brady, as he gives him various assignments right from the start, a sign of confidence from one of the editors. A true professional at heart, Gleason takes his job seriously and is a competent editor.

Karl Glusman - Rolling Stone
Karl Glusman plays Jann Wenner, the co-founder and publisher of the Rolling Stone magazine, in Rolling Stone. A former student of Brady, he decides to hire his former teacher after he covers the Alamont concert. Wenner provides Brady with great advice to Brady to ensure that his newest writer doesn't end up like the previous one, Hunter S. Thompson.

Oscar Jaenada - Brimstone
Oscar Jaenada plays Jorge Wolfe, a Spanish occultist who works for the evil Kagan, in Brimstone. His work through the series consists of trying to recrate the evil demon Beliar for Kagan. The mysterious will not stop until his work is done, as he supervises the resurrection of Beliar.

Manu Bennett - Brimstone
Manu Bennett plays the vampire king Kagan, in Brimstone. Evil to the core, ruthless and determined to decimate the world's population, his quest leads him to fight against his own daughter and the Brimstone Society and after all his plans fall apart, he's forced to do the dirty work and he won't go down easily.

Brian d'Arcy James - Call My Agent
Brian d'Arcy James plays the secretary of the Jones Agency, Wilson Johnson, in Call My Agent. The hard worker of the group, Wilson is dedicated to his job and will do everything in his power, even sacrificing his own well-being to ensure that the agency stays open, no matter how many obstacles life throws at him, when he takes the interim manager job in the agency.

Rainn Wilson - Call My Agent
Rainn Wilson plays Robert "Bob" Hollis, a talent agent working for the Jones Agency, in Call My Agent. A compulsive liar and binge drinker, Bob has a hard time to keep his personal life up to the high standard he lied himself into, but what he lacks in his personal life, he more than makes up for it in his professional life.

Bruce Campbell - Drive
Bruce Campbell plays police officer Herb Lake Winston, in Drive. Herb is a good cop trying to understand the mystery surrounding the Driver and trying to figure out what is going on in his own precinct with the villainous Mr. S and the repercussions it has on the street world.

Norman Reedus - Drive
Norman Reedus plays the villainous Mr. S, in Drive. As he tries to get his revenge on his brother, the Driver, Mr. S hires a group of culprits and goes after the Driver's loved ones. Mr. S, or Samuel (his real name) is a ruthless man at heart with an even more sinister plan.

Eric Roberts - Gauntlet
Eric Roberts plays Leonard Palmer, the owner of the Memphis Pharaohs, in Gauntlet. Palmer is determined to keep his team in Memphis as applies pressure on his coach and players to perform better and to the city's mayor who has a relationship with the team star quarterback.

John David Washington - Gauntlet
John David Washington plays veteran running back of the Memphis Pharaohs, in Gauntlet. After suffering a devastating knee injury in the first game of the season, Lincoln's insistance to keep playing against the doctor's advice leads him to take steroids, forcing coach Heath to put him in the game, but he suffers another injury that will end his season.

Christian Berkel - Hitman
Christian Berkel plays Dr. Otto Wolfgang Ort-Meyer, the doctor at the head of the program that creates the subjects, one of which is our Agent 47. Berkel keeps a tight grip on his "experiments" and he won't let any of them get away from him and his various experiments, always hoping that he will create the perfect killer.

Iain Armitage - Hitman
Iain Armitage plays a young 47, in Hitman. Resourceful and ingenious, 47 is tired and frustrated of being tortured and experimented on by Dr. Ort-Meyer and he befriends another subject, 6. Together and using various schemes and plans, 47 and 6 escape from Ort-Meyer's captivity.

Due to the high number of supporting actors on the ballot, the rest of the actors in consideration for the Best Supporting Actor category will be revealed later tonight.

As we prepare for the 1st Golden Views Awards, I thought it was a great idea to give you a little reminder of the roles played by the lead actresses that will be featured in the nomination ballot.

Kelly Hu - Brimstone
Kelly Hu plays Mynce, a member of the Brimstone Society, in Brimstone. Acting as an associate of Tremaine and a mentor to their newest recruit Rayne, Mynce shows great determination and guidance to help Rayne in her quest to defeat her father, the evil Kagan.

Lydia Hearst - Brimstone
Lydia Hearst plays the villainous Ephemera, in Brimstone. The daughter of the evil vampire king Kagan, Ephemera tries to hunt down her half-sister Rayne on her father's command, with an unstoppable will that cost Ephemera her life.

Caroline Dhavernas - Call My Agent
Caroline Dhavernas plays Andrea Martel, a competent talent agent working at the Jones Agency in Call My Agent. Often discouraged by her colleagues and boss' actions, Andrea finds herself in unusual situations and handle them with professionalism, sometimes. She's clearly the most serious worker in the office, but she knows how to have fun too.

Chloe Bennet - Drive
Chloe Bennet plays Daisy, the sister of the Driver's deceased wife, in Drive. As Daisy gets embroiled in the Driver's dirty business and Samuel's vengeance plan, she tries to understand the psyche of Driver more. An unfortunate middle woman between the two parties, her life is made a living hell by both and she'll eventually pay for her involvement.

Jessica Paré - Drive
Jessica Paré plays Mia, the Driver's deceased wife, in Drive. Mia is the catalyst the of the whole story, with S murdering her to start and the Driver trying to avenge her death at the hands of his brother. She's the only one to understand the Driver's psyche was truly, the woman of his life.

Saffron Burrows - Gauntlet
Saffron Burrows plays Sharron Matthews, the mayor of Memphis, Tennessee, in Gauntlet. Determined to relocated the Pharaohs if they don't make the playoffs, Mayor Matthews succumbs to Tim Collins' charm, the quarterback of the Memphis Pharaohs. A conflict of interest is coming, but she doesn't seem to care for it.

Cristin Milioti - Lady of the House
Cristin Milioti plays Victoria Joseph, the Californian neighbour of the Reisingers, in Lady of the House. Victoria is the prudish and odd woman in the couple. Victoria quickly befriends Polly and she tries to impress her by going out with them and sharing life anecdotes, but Polly only feigns that interest, unbeknown to Victoria.

Maia Mitchell - Lady of the House
Maia Mitchell plays Mary, Frank's secretary, in Lady of the House. A good worker, Polly suspects Mary to have an affair with her husband, but it's really Otto that she's interested in. After Otto disappears to live in the Josephs' attic, her efforts to find him are vain and she has to get over it.

Robin Tunney - Leaving Everything
Robin Tunney plays Anna, in Leaving Everything. Anna lost her mother some time ago, but now that she's left in charge of collecting her estranged grandmother's belongings, she's determined to dig through her past and find out why she left everything behind. Her efforts will lead her to meet with her estranged, hospitalized uncle and her also estranged grandfather, as she tries to make them forgive each other for what they did when Francis was just a kid.

Katrina Law - Miami Vice
Katrina Law plays Gina Calabrese, a colleague of Tubbs and Crockett and she has an affair with the latter. She takes her career seriously, doing good police work and is often sceptical about Crockett and Tubbs plans, but in the end, she always helps them catch the bad guys.

Megalyn Echikunwoke - Miami Vice
Megalyn Echikunwoke plays Trudy Joplin, Gina's partner and a colleague of Crockett and Tubbs. While more of a background player and much more discreet that her flamboyant coworkers, Trudy is a more than capable officer that shows care and dedication to her work, making her one of the best cops at the precinct.

Amber Midthunder - Nez Perce
Amber Midthunder plays the Nez Perce tribe member Little Bird, in Nez Perce. Little Bird quickly falls in love with Wahilitis. Always supportive to him, Little Bird holds a special space in the man's heart and gives Wahilitis some happiness in his grim life by her carefulness and attention.

Julia Jones - Nez Perce
Julia Jones plays Springtime, the wife the Nez Perce chief Joseph, in Nez Perce. It's not always easy to stand by your husband and to live with every decisions he makes, but Springtime seems to take that leadership role seriously and to keep her calm, even if the difficult times.

Alicia Witt - Rolling Stone
Alicia Witt plays Kylee Hargrove, the office manager in Rolling Stone. Just like every good offices managers, everything that happens at the Rolling Stone offices goes through Kylee, who certainly eases Brady's arrival at the magazine and to help him navigate in the craziness surrounding most of his assignments.
