Before we jump right back into the "In Development" section, I have an announcement to make and it's a big one : The Last Resort Television Season 3 will officially start on Monday March 30th. You can now look forward to this date to enjoy our content!
Crime of the Century : Blake Jenner (Time Passages, The Informers), Eddie Jemison (iZombie, Chicago Med), Drew Carey (Triple Identity) and Frank Dillane (Resident Evil, Paradise Lost) are set to join the still all-male cast of the Bennett Miller-produced and Lon Charles-written series. Jenner will play Allan Loeb, Richard Loeb's (Nick Robinson) brother. Jemison will play Jacob Loeb, another of Richard's brother. Drew Carey will play Robert E. Crowe, a state's attorney.
Boreas : Lars Mikkelsen (The Witcher, House of Cards), Ben McKenzie (Gotham,Line of Duty) and Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad, Life in Pieces) have joined the dystopian thriller from Ann Morrow and Mark Romanek. Mikkelsen will play a mysterious and controversial leader while McKenzie and Brandt will play a man and a woman living in a safe place, but are hiding something.
The Controllers : Joining Dan Trachtenberg's sci-fi series are Jonathan Majors (The Last Black Man in San Franciso, Captive State) and Chloe Sevigny (The Act, The Dead Don't Die) both in unknown roles. The series is a spin-off the acclaimed Golden Reel winning film Control, written by Jimmy Ellis and John Malone. Only Ellis returns for the series.
Showtime : Rumors are that one wrestler or more could leave Texas Championship Wrestling during the season, perhaps as a dissatisfaction about the new dual ownership between Diane Brown (Anna Gunn) and Paul Martin (Toby Huss)
She-Hulk : The After making minor appearances last season, Ron Perlman (Mass Effect 3 - Part 2, Teslin, Yukon) and Michiel Huisman (Crimson Fox, The Red Sea Diving Resort) will join the cast as a recurring roles. Perlman plays the famed journalist J. Jonah Jamieson and Huisman played superhero The Hood.
Call My Agent : One of the show's biggest selling point is its rotating cast of guest stars and the network spared no expense this time around. After his Golden View nominated appearance last season, Martin Freeman will become the first guest star to appear twice when he will visit the Jones Agency again. Actor / director Mel Gibson is also scheduled to appear during the season.
