Plot: Otto (Ross Lynch) is behind the bar at The Bank getting ready for his band's first show. Wes (Logan Miller) and Uncle Elmo (Raymond J. Barry) are at the bar where Otto introduces them to Ruby (Jenn Lyon). As Otto's bandmates Ogden (Lonny Ross), Larry (David Krumholtz) and Gus (Charlie Saxton) all take the stage, Otto and Wes notice that Teri Workman (Natalie Alyn Lind) is at the show. Ruby asks Otto if he's nervous for his first show. Otto scoffs at the question, saying that he's been waiting his whole life for this moment. Otto then runs up to the stage and greets the audience. He then introduces them to The Ottos as his bandmates begin playing to massive applause.

After the show, Otto, drenched in sweat walks past Teri and tells her it's great she made it out to the show. Teri doesn't recognize him until he says they go to school together. He asks her how she liked the show, and she tells him that she wasn't really into it. She likes real rock-n-roll like Frampton and Journey. Otto's soul is crushed. He puts his head down as Teri leaves with her friends. Otto heads back to the bar where Uncle Elmo has fallen asleep.

Otto, Wes and Elmo are leaving The Bank when Ruby calls Otto over to talk. After a minute, Otto comes back to Wes and Elmo and asks Wes if he can drive Elmo home for him. Otto says that Ruby is going to give him a lift home, if he catches his drift. Wes agrees and gives Otto a high five. Back at Ruby's place, she and Otto have sex. Otto is all smiles as he calls himself The Baron.

At school the next day, Bozeman is furious that Bible Becky (Beanie Feldstein) didn't get in any trouble for stabbing him with a fork. She's tries to ignore him and walk away, but Bozeman blocks her path. She calmly asks him to leave her alone, but that just makes Bozeman angrier. Suddenly Bozeman hears a thunderous fart coming from Otto and walks away before the fumes hit. Otto then shows Becky that it was just his tape recorder. She laughs at the fart tape. Otto tells her not to interpret his act of heroism as any kind of theological affiliation.

Otto, Wes and Pete (Charlie Tahan) are all out at the lake drinking beers and listening to music. Otto talks about how he was originally planning on leaving Ohio right after graduation, but now he's thinking he may try to see how the music thing pans out. Pete laughs that only Otto would try to forge a punk rock career writing songs about subjects like Bertolt Brecht. Otto jokes that he's just trying to make up for the illiteracy of his bandmates by classing up the lyrics. Otto says that the record labels are impressed and one of them is sending an executive to his next show. Wes announces that he's going for a swim and dives into the lake. Otto and Pete continue talking, but after a few minutes notice that they don't see Wes anywhere in the water.

One week later, Otto is drinking away his sorrows at The Bank before his next show. Ruby asks how he's doing since Wes' death, and he says he doesn't want to talk about it. Ogden rushes over to Otto to tell him to get ready to go on stage since the Stiff Records Executive (Justin Long) is right up in front of the stage. Otto drunkenly stumbles up to the stage. Otto slurs into the mic that their first song is for his friend Wes who recently died. Otto starts to sing, but instead of words coming out of his mouth, a gigantic stream of vomit sprays from his mouth and all over the record executive. Otto then passes out, falling off the stage.

At closing, Uncle Elmo drags Otto out of The Bank commenting that he needs to teach Otto how to handle his booze better. Otto slowly begins recovering when his bandmates confront him and start beating him. Uncle Elmo smacks Ogden over the head with his cane, kicks Larry in the groin and chases Gus off. Otto thanks Uncle Elmo for his help, and Elmo says that's what he's there for, but that's probably the end of his music career.
