The James Morgan Show 2.6

I knew that waiting a day or two before releasing my episode will pay off and I have plenty of news for you ahead of this episode of the James Morgan Show, thanks to two-day wait.

THURSDAY

Hitman: The second season is quickly starting to take shape with the additions of Callan Mulvey, and Freddie Pinze Jr. Mulvey will play Sergei Zavorotko, reportedly the main antagonist of the second season and Pinze Jr. will play his associate known simply as the American. Francis Lawrence returns as executive producer with a script from Dwight Gallo in this 8-episode season.

Survivor Last Resort:
Just a quick blurb to tell you the first tribe will be announced Thursday night, so tune in to meet your new contestants.

La Maupin: Some French actors were cast in supporting roles in Ann Morrow's historical drama helmed by Michel Hazanavicius. Denis Ménochet was cast as Gaston, Julie's (Lily Collins)  overprotective, alcoholic and womanizing father. French legend Gerard Depardieu joined the distribution as Count Louis de Lorraine, Gaston's superior, who develops an unhealthy relationship with Julie. Rumors are that series could turn into the first-ever LRTV miniseries and no more than six episodes.

FRIDAY

Gauntlet: The second season storyline remains a mystery but I've heard through the vines that rising star John David Washington will reportedly leave the show early on. Washington's Lincoln Tatum kind of took the backseat in the end of the first season, so it makes sense to assume his storyline will wrap-up quickly. Antoine Fuqua returns as producer with a script by Matt Parker.

Call My Agent: Following all the previous announcements regarding the casting, we have obtained the complete list of guest stars that will appear in the second season, out-of-order. It appears as James Spader, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Neal McDonough, Michael Stuhlbarg, Matthew Broderick, Dale Dickey, Halle Berry and Martin Freeman will appear in the second season.

Have Gun - Will Travel: Joining Walton Goggins in the loose adaptation of the series of the same name will be Benedict Wong and Adrianne Palicki. Wong will play Chan, the bellhop of Charlemagne Hotel, a building at the center of the story, while Palicki will play a mysterious woman who arrives at the hotel. Frank Darabont produces with a script by Dwight Gallo.

SATURDAY

Manson: The series about the life of famed cult leader Charles Manson has added Julia Garner, Juliette Angelo, Natalia Dyer and Ella Purnell to its distribution. Garner will play Mary Brunner, Manson's first partner. Angelo, Dyer and Purnell will play Manson's Family members Lynette Fromme, Susan Atkins and Patricia Krenwinkel respectively. Antonio Campos produces from a script by veteran LRF writer Lon Charles.

L.A. Noire: Joining Joe Alwyn in this video game adaptation is Brian F. O'Byrne, Eric Ladin and Brent Sexton. O'Byrne will play Captain James Donnelly, Ladin will play Detective Stefan Bekowsky and Sexton will play Detective Rusty Galloway, all colleagues of Joe Alwyn's Cole Phelps. Gavin O'Connor is on board as producer with John Malone writing.

SUNDAY

Rolling Stone: The hit show by Oliver Stone and D.R. Cobb will be back for a second season, same time, same channel. Not much is currently known about the plot, but you can expect the major players to return.

Burnt Prairie: Joining Stephan James, John Gallagher Jr., Olivia Holt and Robert Forster in the large ensemble cast of this small-town drama of a town obsessed with its basketball team and forced to look itself in the mirror when tragedy strikes is  Josh Lucas, Kristin Chenoweth, Colman Domingo, Diana Silvers and Jacob Elordi. Chad Taylor writes the script with James Ponsoldt as producer.

That will be about it for today's episode and hopefully you like the shows we have so far. I'll be back next Sunday to talk about our shows ! See you next week !
