Director: Bill Prady
Writer: H.G. Hansen
Cast: Kathryn Hahn, Malin Akerman, Chris Redd, Danny McBride, Zooey Deschanel, Adam Scott, John Goodman, Christina Applegate, Karen Soni, Missy Peregrym, Mitchell Russo and Jane Lynch

Plot: We start with Deon (Chris Redd) & DJ (Mitchell Russo) watching dank memes and failure videos on GongTube, basically a YouTube rip-off. Deon gets it in his head he should make an epic video to show well he is. DJ isn’t fooled as is Tessa (Missy Peregrym) as she passes by. Tessa makes a comment the only reason he wants to look epic is because the video of Kendrick Lamar is trending like no other video before. DJ laughs as he has watched it like a hundred times already since he wanted to how many times it would get unfunny. Answer never and Tessa agrees. Deon stares at the camera as they share a laugh.
Confessional: Deon talks about how hard it is since that video has gone viral. Even the bagger at the co-op he goes to laughed at his expense.

Richard (Adam Scott) walks in to see what everyone is doing for the streaming services. He sees they’re goofing off and starts to lecture till he sees a funny video of a guy hitting his nuts with a bad shot in a basketball. He tells them without noticing he likes video like this even more cat videos. They stop looking to look at him weirdly. Richard notices it and slowly walks out of the room.

Confessional: Richard talks about how he should keep things to himself most of the time at work. We see cutscenes of cat stickers on his lunch, a kitty sweater as a mock gift, and then a photo of the characters of Shrek but instead Richard’s head in on Puss in Boots. “I mean it wouldn’t be that bad with workplace teasing if everyone didn’t ask how are Shrek and Donkey.”
Confessional: Emily (Malin Akerman) talks how Linda (Kathryn Hahn) and Emily needed to unwind considering how badly the anniversary went and how Emily’s divorce is weighing on her.
We see Linda and Emily going out to lunch at a fancy restaurant. They have a great time as Linda needed this consider how her dad has been nonstop with criticism since the incident. Emily agrees as she can’t imagine anything ruining this moment. She hears a familiar voice of her mother, Cruella Harmony (Jane Lynch), as Emily looks like character in a horror movie hearing the killer behind her. She turns around manically as she sees her mother waves at her from afar. Linda looks concerned as she knows about Emily’s relationship w/ her mother. Emily doesn’t move which Linda asks why. She’s afraid if she moved; her mom could sense her fear and wanna come over. Her mother is suddenly right by her which makes Emily jump. She asks to join which Emily tries to say no but she doesn’t listen and sits down with them. Emily stares at the camera like a “kill-me-now” look.

Melissa (Zooey Deschanel) talks to the group about a possible ad/sponsor for a doll making company. Deon excuses himself for he needs to get ready for his epic video; DJ leaves with him because he wants to anywhere but here. Tessa and Raj (Karen Soni) stay because Tessa needs to find a sponsor since it’s been hard for them after Deon’s fiasco and Raj doesn’t wanna help Nick with his new project. Emily is confused till Nick (Danny McBride) walks in with a ventriloquist dummy, which kinda scares Raj a bit. Tessa dares to ask why does Nick have his hand up a doll’s ass. Nick tells them he gotta be performing at the “Dry Point”, which Tessa notices is the non-alcoholic bar owned by a few ex-nuns. Melissa confused by how that makes sense, Tessa asks if that is really the most interesting thing in the room right now. Nick invites everyone but everyone comes up with sorry excuses why they can’t come. Nick asks why and Raj makes a comment about who would compliment something that looks so evil. Victoria (Christina Applegate) walks by, looks at the dummy, and compliments Nick’s dummy. “See Jeff Dun-Ham, the Ice Queen of Narnia likes your even creepier version of Slappy the Dummy.” Nick shallows his pride and says it’s their loss since he’s been working on his walk in a bar jokes. They stare at each other as Raj takes a guess that the event will be a disaster. Everyone agrees.

Richard (John Goodman) is trying to hide from the other co-workers as he hears meows when he walks by. Tony appears out of nowhere as he asks how Richard is doing. Richard can sense a trap but Tony only comes in peace. If anyone is gonna make funny of Richard it’s gonna be him. Richard confusingly thanks him as Tony has a plan to fix all this.

We go back to Linda’s & Emily’s lunch as Cruella is halfway through a joke about how Emily wore white on picture which happened to be the day of her first period. Emily grabs a waiter with a bottle and asks for another refill, which is her sixth. Linda is kinda uncomfortable as she tries to tell Cruella about how Emily is doing. Cruella isn’t surprised since she now has plenty of time on her hands. Emily then grabs the bottle away from the waiter. Linda tries to defend Emily and how she is doing just fine, but they both see Emily sipping from the bottle now. Emily notices, slowly puts down the bottle, and wipes her chin. Linda looks at with a “Really?!” look. Cruella laughs as she isn’t surprised considering Emily used to have a history with alcohol. Emily rolls her eyes and agrees half-ass as she takes another drink. Linda says that’s not true till Cruella mentions wasn’t it that history is how they both made out in college. Emily shock-spits by that as Linda are shell-shocked. Cruella notices her ride has been waiting for 30 minutes and she really needs to go. “It was nice to see you ladies again… Have fun…” They stare at each other awkwardly.

Nick is practicing a bad joke about how he’s a better dummy than anyone in the White House. Tessa walks in, already regretting it, and demands to know what has happened to the Wi-Fi. Nick acts like he has no idea what she means. The Wi-Fi is working for everyone even Richard’s because Nick would hate for him to miss his cat videos. Tessa tells him to stay on topic as she knows he blocked her off the Wi-Fi because she insulted him about the dummy. “He has a name mind you… Prigali…” Tessa stops herself as how that sounds like a name from a Game of Thrones rip-off. She asks kindly what he wants as he knows it’s killing her by the twitch from the side of her lip. He tells her to convince everyone to go to his show, which she agrees. As she begins to leave, he makes one more request. With some venom in her voice, she asks what else he wants. He wants her to apologize to Prigali. She chuckles and asks if that is a joke. “Well, I didn’t make a joke about how a priest, a black guy, and a duck walk into a bar…” Tessa excuses herself as she’s literally losing her mind not being about to insult him more. “Don’t worry she’ll come around.”

Linda rushed to her office as she is clearly upset with what just happened. Emily tries to explain herself as she tells her mother everything. She’s like a tractor beam for the truth with her never-blinking eyes. Linda doesn’t think that’s an excuse considering how Emily always says if Satan needed someone to take the reins so he can take a vacation, he’d hired her mother. Emily says sorry for the thousandth time as she didn’t see the harm in sharing it. They were in college and very drunk. Richard is walking by with Tony as Richard makes a comment about they should dig into details. “Don’t you have a plate of lasagna to obsess over?” Richard lowers his and walks on as Tony laughs at his expense. Linda makes it clear it doesn’t matter how sorry she is because if Emily can share something like that why should she trust her. Linda walks out as Emily closes the door to scream in frustration.

Deon is in his garage preparing himself to break five cinder blocks. DJ is hesitant as he doesn’t believe this is the way to get his manhood back. Nick and Emily walk in as Deon tells DJ to relax. DJ asks why they are there. Nick doesn’t want to miss this disaster and Melissa wants to encourage Deon on. Also Raj couldn’t come because of Nick’s doll. “It’s a dummy, gosh…” Deon tells them to be silent as he tells DJ to turn on the camera. He fully impacts his hand onto the blocks. There’s a silence till Deon screams in horror holding his hand. Melissa goes to help him as Nick laughs while DJ shakes his head.

Victoria and Linda talk about how Linda has to let go of whatever is going on with her and Emily. Linda is touched by that but Victoria warns her if she tells anyone she helped she’ll deny it.

We are at the Dry Point as its comedy night. Tessa, Melissa, DJ, Deon, who’s now wearing a cast, and Raj are sitting at a table. Melissa is happy Raj can overcome his fear of Nick’s dummy. Raj explains it’s nothing considering how Tessa scared him to be there. Melissa gives her a look to which she shrugs off and takes a drink out of a flask. DJ asks how she got alcohol into a dry bar. She tells him to not worry about it and Deon asks for a swig. Tessa makes joke how he’d need both hands for this drink. Emily walks in and sees Tessa’s flask. She asks for a swig but Tessa warns her it’s almost every kind imaginable except Everclear. “Why not EverClear?” “Because I’m not a drunk.” Emily takes a huge swig to which gets her beyond buzzed.

Tony walks in as he tells Richard to walk in too. Richard is hesitant till Tony pulls him in to show Richard wearing a leather jacket, chaps, and a bandana with biker shades. Richard asks how Tony wears but he finds out it’s his wife’s.

Nick has a scene where he sees Jay Leno and lets him know he’s his idol. Jay thanks him but talks about how that are the third puppet act to compliment him and how retirement has not done him well.

Linda walks in and wants to talk to Emily, which she agrees. Emily takes one more swig and joins her. Linda tries to apologize about how she over reacted. Emily is drunk though and goes for a kiss after saying how nice she is. Emily passes out and Linda now realizes they really only kissed because they were drunk.

Nick does his performance which doesn’t go well and Raj talks how he’s country has place full of crap but this performance is filled with it. Nick angers the crowd as Tessa is enjoying this as much she is with Richard’s Freddie Mercury attire. Nick finally gets laid out by Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw.

Confessional: Everyone talks about their issues and how they resolved them except for Deon who now had a broken hand, and Nick who thinks he’s performance went swimmingly though he can’t find his dummy.

We see Raj sneaking throwing the dummy into a woodchopper.
