He gets off the toilet and leaves, telling everyone the bathroom is flooding. Andrea (Caroline Dhavernas) is also coming out of the women’s bathroom and she says the same thing. Miranda (Lesley Manville) says she got this covered and enters the bathroom. Desmond (Chris Colfer) looks worried and Andrea goes right back in and gets Miranda out. They look at Bob (Rainn Wilson) and say he looks like someone who’s handy. Bob rolls his sleeves up and says that he was waiting for them to ask. He will need some tools and he asks Wilson to go get them in the janitor’s office and Wilson says he’s scared of this place, but he has no choice. He goes in the dark corner where the janitor’s office is. It’s a dark corner that nobody there during the day. The door is locked, they’ll have no choice but to call the janitor. In the meantime, Bob will go home and get his own tools.

Bob comes back with his impressive set of tools and heads for the bathroom. He looks at the pipes and identifies the faulty one. He tries to fix it, but it bursts open, increasing the water flow. Water is now completely ruining the carpet and it doesn’t look like it will stop soon. Bob confesses that he has no idea what he’s doing and everyone starts to panic and they get things off the floor. They believe they will be saved by Janitor Ed (Kirk Fox) who enters the office, drunk as a skunk. When they see he has a hard time walking in a straight line, their hopes are diminished. Ed unlocks the door to his office and they grab the tools and Ed heads to the bathroom to fix the pipes. On his way to the bathroom, he lays eyes on Miranda and he starts to flirt with her, despite her disdain. Wilson pushes him inside the bathroom and he goes near the pipes. He rests his head against the wall and he falls asleep.

The water continues to flood the office and Bob and Wilson finally decide to go and see what’s going on with Ed in the bathroom. They notice he’s asleep and they drag him out and throw him on the floor, laying in a pool of water. They don’t know what to do anymore. Bob looks at his watch and he says he’s late for his meeting with Sirius and everybody asks who is that and he says it’s his lawyer. Andrea has a similar reaction when looking at the time, she has a client coming in soon. She says she’ll call to reschedule the meeting, but when she starts calling, she can hear the ringtone. Her client, Daniel Craig (Daniel Craig) is already here. When she sees him, Miranda starts screaming like a little girl and starts running towards him. She slips on the wet floor and falls on the ground face first.

Daniel Craig carries Miranda back in her office and before he sits her on the chair, Wilson asks if he can take a picture of them, Miranda will love it. Daniel accepts, but asks them if they anything better to do, since their offices are flooding. Andrea apologizes profusely and she says that nobody here was able to stop it and they don’t know what to do. Daniel suggests they could turn off the water supply and they say it’s a good idea. Desmond starts laughing and says he’s surprised that they didn’t even think about it. They tell him he should’ve said something and he reminds them that he tried, but Bob refused to listen to him and to let the real men talk about it. Daniel turns off the water supply and water stops bursting out of the pipes. Andrea then suggests that they could go elsewhere and talk about his contract and Daniel gets upset, because they clearly have something more urgent to deal with. He orders Wilson to go and check on Miranda, she hit her head pretty hard.

Daniel Craig goes in the bathroom with Bob’s tools and he starts fixing the pipes himself. Andrea reminds him that it isn’t necessary, but Daniel is focusing on the pipes and he doesn’t respond to her. Wilson talks to Miranda, who regained consciousness and he asks her to follow his finger, but she seems alright, if not for her very visible bruise she has on the forehead. She pushes Wilson out of the way and asks to see Daniel Craig. She calls his name, but he doesn’t answer. She asks Desmond, who’s still working and the only who’s still calm and he says he’s fixing the pipes in the men’s bathroom. She runs in there and hugs him, saying she’s a huge fan and he’s their saviour. The force of the hug pushes them to the ground and they both get wet. Miranda doesn’t let go of him and she says she’s like a Bond girl in a Bond film. Daniel carries her out of the bathroom and Miranda is on cloud nine. On his way out, Daniel whispers to Andrea that he doesn’t want to see Miranda again until he’s done. Since he’s soaking wet, he takes off his shirt and at the sight of a shirtless Daniel Craig, Miranda passes out and Wilson rushes to her help.

Daniel is now done fixing the pipes and Andrea says she can’t thank him enough.  He shrugs it off and he says he’ll deduct it from her next cut and he smiles. He can hear Miranda calling for him outside and he tells Andrea that he doesn’t want to see her again. She helps him get out of the office by the bathroom’s window and she thanks him again before getting out of the bathroom and telling Miranda that she missed him. She says it’s impossible, she just heard him talking and she starts looking for him around the office. As she wanders around calling for her hero Daniel Craig, Andrea and Wilson realises the office is in ruins, water got everywhere. They’ll have to redo the carpets and it probably got into the walls. They call Bob to ask him how his meeting with the lawyer went and to tell him what happened at the office and he says everything went well. He’s sitting at a bar and he smiles, telling them they won’t have to worry about the office, he has them covered. He looks at a settlement in his hands and he hangs up. He clinks his glass with Sirius’ and they drink to celebrate a victory.

She-Hulk 2.9 - Issue #19

She-Hulk : Issue #19

Genre : Superhero / Comedy / Legal
Showrunner: Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Writer : Chad Taylor
Based on the Marvel Comics characters
Cast: Jenny Slate, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Himesh Patel, Reid Scott, Eric DaneLou Diamond Phillips, Michiel Huisman and Maggie Q

Plot:The planet Chandilar, a technologically advanced planet that is part of the Shi’ar Empire. Kallark (Eric Dane) is the well-respected leader of the Imperial Guard, called by his title of “Gladiator”. He gives a tour of its capital to She-Hulk (Jenny Slate), whose green form does not stand out as much with the various alien races of the Shi’ar.

He leads her to the Court of Justice, where Starfox (Reid Scott) sits shackled up awaiting people to arrive at the court. However, Gladiator informs his brother that he will not be facing a public trial. Instead, he will be judged solely by the Living Tribunal - a cosmic arbiter of justice throughout the galaxy. She-Hulk is surprised to hear this and inquires about why Gladiator has decided to shift the trial to here. He tells her that the Living Tribunal can penetrate a being’s memory, and thus access the ultimate truth.

She-Hulk starts to argue with Gladiator, saying that the case was brought to her on Earth and she wants to be the one to fight for it on Earth. He responds that her fighting with Starfox shows that his brother made the wrong choice in choosing his attorney. She-Hulk’s intensity strengthens and she says that the accused crimes have nothing to do with the Sh’iar Empire. She is starting to get on Gladiator’s nerves but their argument is interrupted by a violet-skinned woman entering the court.

She introduces herself as The Living Tribunal (Maggie Q), or at least one of the physical representatives of the cosmic being. She takes the seat at the front of the court and She-Hulk and Gladiator take their seats to hear the verdict. She reads out Starfox’s full name and the crimes that he is being accused of. She says that The Living Tribunal’s first priority is fairness in the name of the law. And because this case was already started on Earth, the trial must occur there. She-Hulk smirks at the camera. Gladiator is furious and follows the Living Tribunal’s representative out of the court. Meanwhile, Starfox turns to She-Hulk and swears that he did not commit any crimes - against the alleged victim not against her. She tells him that she believes him but that she is going to borrow a page from The Living Tribunal’s playbook as she knows someone who might be able to read memories.

Before she has Starfox take her back to Earth, she communicates with Stu (Himesh Patel) and tells him that the case is back on so to start looking in the archives for anything on mind manipulation. Before she hangs up, Stu asks if she’d finally like to go out on that date when this is all over. She says that after the last few weeks she’s had, she’d really like that.

Back on Earth, Mary (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) is in her full supervillain gear as Titania. She nervously evades security and breaks into the building that houses GLKH. She has some close calls but is fairly successful at staying out of view of the cameras. She decides to maneuver through the ventilation system like thieves do in the movies, and navigates her way to “The Basement” - where the archives of comics are housed, and thus incriminating evidence against the Hood’s syndicate.

She starts to pick through the files and find the ones that the Hood sent her out for. She is interrupted by the sound of keys hitting the floor. She turns around and finds a dumbfounded Stu looking in shock (although unable to recognize Mary given her costume). She isn’t sure what to do at first and then tells him to let her get what she needs and leave and no one will get hurt. She sees him reach towards something and warns him that any sudden movements and she will have to hurt him as her life is truly on the line here.

However, they both are interrupted by a third person: Walter, the Black Cat (Lou Diamond Phillips). He starts to list off the various rookie mistakes that would’ve gotten Titania caught had he not cut the security feed to aid his own break-in. He’s come here because he knew that she would be here and she has something that belongs to him: the diamond earrings. She laughs this off, saying that he can’t say something that he stole belongs to him. He says he did not steal those, they belonged to his late wife.

Stu, still nervous, slowly moves to tap a button in his pocket and whispers “Jen, The Basement, ASAP”. Titania hears this in the corner of her ear and quickly reacts to punch Stu. Given her super-strength, this sends him ten feet across the room and causes him to hit his head on a cabinet on the way down. A pool of blood starts to gather under his head and she is now in a state of shock. With split-second thinking, she yells “catch!” to Walter as she throws him the earrings. As he catches them, she leg-sweeps him to bring him to the ground, causing his head to ricochet off of the ground on the way down.

With two people that look out of it, she takes the files and makes her exit the way she came in. Meanwhile, Walter starts to wake up and isn’t sure where he is. She-Hulk comes busting through the wall and finds Stu’s body with the pool of blood. She goes over to him and finds that with no pulse. She caresses his body while letting out a scream of anguish. This multitude of emotions means that she has little control over her body, which causes her form to alternate between She-Hulk and Jen. She then sees Walter in his burglar gear, assuming he did it. This solidifies her as She-Hulk as she is so angry that she could kill. With Stu’s blood on her hands (literally, not figuratively), she grabs Walter and holds him up in the air. Suffering from some memory loss, he swears he doesn’t know what happened but her eyes are glazed over in a rage of fury. However, her sadness soon returns, causing her to simply tie Walter up as she contacts the proper authorities - realizing that she cannot be the judge, jury, and executioner.

She holds Stu’s body as EMTs arrive and the police are not far behind, arresting Walter for Stu’s murder. This is cross-cut with Mary arriving at the lair of the Hood (Michiel Huisman) and delivering the documents. She does not look pleased with herself but at least her life has been spared. We end on a side-by-side of both her and Jen’s eyes, both looking in anguish.

Ricardo Tubbs (Taye Diggs) joins them in the garage and asks to ride along in the car for a test drive. Castillo tosses the keys to Crockett and urges him to abide by the speed limit. Not too long later, Crockett and Tubbs are speeding down the highway in the Spider, going well over 100 MPH with ease.

Ira Stone (Desmin Borges) is in near the Mexican border observing Cartel runners from afar. He takes out a camera and begins recording their movements. He then sees them kill several local, but by their movements he suspects that they have been professionally trained, something rare for Mexican drug operations. He then thinks he recognizes the man giving them orders. He quickly gathers his camera and escapes the area.

When they get back from their test drive, Crockett and Tubbs find Ira Stone waiting for them in front of OCB. Inside Stone shows them the video, but pauses it on the man he recognizes. Crockett says it kind of looks like Maynard from afar, and Stone says that's exactly what he thought. Stone asks them what they think of how the men are operating, and Tubbs and Crockett both agree that they move in a precise manner not characteristic of the cartels, almost like they have US military background. Stone says that's what frightened him enough to leave the area before recording any more. They show the footage to Castillo, who agrees that it's troubling, but reminds them that they are Miami police who don't have any jurisdiction outside Dade county. Crockett asks the recently back to work Stan Switek (Brad William Henke) to try to keep Stone at the station. Switek says he can't make Stone stick around. Crockett tells him to lock Stone if he has to.

When Crockett arrives at his boat that night and finds a couple spooks waiting for him. They want to know where Ira Stone is. Crockett says he can't help them. Crockett lets Elvis out of the cabin, which scares them off his boat. Crockett calls Stone and informs him that some shady CIA types were around looking for him, which means that somebody doesn't want that video getting out. Based on the noises in the background, Crockett asks Stone where he is. Stone says he left the station to get a hotel room. Crockett is pissed that Stone left and demands his location. Stone tells him that he left the video at OCB and gives him the name of the hotel. Crockett orders him to stay put and gets in the Spider.

When Crockett arrives at the hotel, Stone is nowhere to be found. Crockett's phone begins to ring. He looks at the caller ID, which says Ira Stone. He answers to find Maynard (Richard Burgi) on the other end of the line. He tells him that he wants the video in exchange for Stone's life. Crockett calls Tubbs and tells him to grab the video and head down to his boat. When Tubbs arrives, Crockett tells him that they will simply hand over the tape for Stone since they still have a digital copy of the footage.

When they arrive at the meet, Crockett and Tubbs demand that Maynard prove Stone is still alive. Maynard orders his men to bring Stone out. He is heavily beaten and bloody. Crockett tosses over the hard copy of the video. Maynard laughs, asking if Crockett thinks it's 1986 or something. He knows they're bound to have uploaded it somewhere and orders his men to kill Crockett and Tubbs. Switek, Trudy Joplin (Megalyn Echikunwoke), Gina Calabrese (Katrina Law) and even Lt. Castillo arrive with a SWAT team as backup. In the ensuing gunfire, Stone is mortally wounded. Crockett chases after Maynard, who boards a waiting helicopter nearby. Crockett opens fire at the chopper, causing it to spiral out of control and crash into the ground with an explosion. Crockett rushes back to Stone's side, but finds that he's already died.
