The James Morgan Show 2.5

Welcome back for another episode of the James Morgan Show ! Today I have some special announcements for you, both good and bad news.

MONDAY

Nez Perce: As the show will keep the same cast, I just wanted to point out that the stars have requested a significant pay raise compared to the first season. Last Resort Television's fortune isn't a problem, but the network didn't plan the show to be such a success and some of the stars demands raised a few eyebrows, especially in the supporting roles.

The Survivors:
The time-travelling fish-out-of-the-water sci-fi drama by writer Mo Buck and Tomas Alfredson has signed veteran actor M. Emmet Walsh as Gerald's (Brendan Fraser) father Horace who is teleported in modern times alongside his family. The show needs some villains and both Clancy Brown and Michael Mando have signed on for the project. Brown will play Chartwell, the leader of a mysterious sect and Mando will play a member of said sect who develops an unhealthy obsession with the family.

Total Drama: Asuka Valley: This is the first and last bad news of today's episode. Network executives and writer Jacob Jones reached an agreement to cancel Total Drama: Asuka Valley. A special rotating segment will replace the show.

TUESDAY

She-Hulk: Joining Jenny Slate and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (also executive producer) in the first ever superhero legal comedy will be Kate Walsh and F. Murray Abraham. Walsh will play Mallory Brook, a rival attorney who Jen (Jenny Slate) is envious of. F. Murray Abraham will play Brook's boss, who wants to hire Jen for his firm. Chad Taylor pens the script based on the Marvel Comics characters.

Human: The Michelle MacLaren-produced and Ann Morrow-written sci-fi drama added two actors to its cast. Veteran actor Justin Theroux and rising star Letitia Wright signed on to play the two humanoid android the scientists played by Bryan Batt, Michelle Fairley and Adrien Rawlins play.

Hype: Dominic Wilkins and Stephen Merchant casted other actors as mascots. Joining Seth Green is comedian Gabriel Iglesias and actors Nick Swardson and David Cross. They will play employees of the mascot organization with problems of their own. Also, making her return in front of the camera for the first time since 2010 is Sarah Polley, who will play a psychologist the mascots are forced to see every now and then by their boss (Sarah Silverman).

WEDNESDAY

Showtime: Joining Joe Manganiello, Nick Offerman and Cooper Andrews in the Mo Buck and Chad Taylor-written series produced by Steven Soderbergh is Barry Keoghan, Dacre Montgomery and Paul Walter Hauser. Keoghan plays Ben Carr, a young up-and-coming wrestler from England who crosses the Atlantic with the hopes of making it big in the American wrestling world. Montgomery plays Thunderjack Haynes, a brash new recruit who struggles in the ring, but as the looks required to be the next big thing. Hauser will play "Slim" Clem Sanders, s perennial jobber shifting from gimmicks to gimmicks in the hopes of his big break.

Miami Vice: Not much is known about the second season, but I think it's safe to assume that all of your favorite detectives will be back for a second outing.

Rubber City Rockers: Joining Ross Lynch as Otto the overly confident band geek and rebel will be Raymond J. Barry, Charlie Tahan and Logan Miller. Barry will play Ross Lynch's character's great-uncle Elmo. Tahan and Miller will play Pete and Wes, schoolmates of Otto. David Wain produces from a script by D.R. Cobb based on a graphic novel by John "Derf" Backderf.

That will be about it for today's episode and hopefully you like the shows we have so far. I'll be back next Sunday with brand new announcements !
