The James Morgan Show 2.3


Hi there everyone and welcome to the third episode of my second season and today, I'm going to talk about our shows that will air on Thursday and Friday.

Before I jump in and talk about our upcoming shows, I have to announce that the previously announced Lady of the House movie that will work as the series finale will air tomorrow night at 10 pm EST. See you there!

THURSDAY

Hitman: Agent 47 will return for a second season after he (SPOILER ALERT) appeared to run away from the agency at the end of the first season. It remains to be seen how the second season will unfold as not many details are known at the moment.

Survivor Last Resort:
The second season of the Last Resort edition of the hit reality show will move its production to New Zealand after visiting Cape Verde for its first season. The show will reportedly feature an even more eclectic cast that we saw in the first season will be progressively revealed.

La Maupin: Writer Ann Morrow will be back with another ambitious female-led period drama after last Season's Leaving Everything. Lily Collins has been cast in the lead role, beating out two high-profile actress in the process. Collins will play a woman in 16th century France who's tired of the social norms surrounding her and decides to live her life to the fullest, which will leave her to meet peculiar characters and live an extravagant life, shattering the social norms. It is based on a true story. Academy Award winner Michel Hazanavicius has been hired as executive producer. The show will reportedly feature French talent who exported their talents in North America at some point. 

FRIDAY

Gauntlet: The hit football drama will be back for a second season with much of its cast, but the intrigues remains unknown at the moment, hence why I can't really say much about it.

Call My Agent: The popular show took audiences by surprise following its midseason arrival and the chaotic and crazy cast will return. The boss, played by Lesley Manville is back, as well as her employees, played by Caroline Dhavernas, Rainn Wilson and Brian d'Arcy James. Mark, the agency's germaphobe loan shark, played by Bill Nighy as been promoted to a series regular and will be the main antagonist of the second season, if you will. Gilles Marini and Chris Colfer will retain their recurring status, as François and Desmond respectively and they will be joined by Michelle Yeoh and William Forsythe who will play new characters, a journalist and a Russian mobster, respectively. The 8-episode series will once again feature a guest cast where stars will come and play themselves. Dominic Wilkins and Jason Reitman are also returning.

Have Gun - Will Travel: For his third show of the season, writer Dwight Gallo will write a western for Last Resort Television. The show, a loose adaptation of the classic television series of the same name. Walton Goggins has signed on for the lead role of Paladin, a dandy, but dangerous gunslinger in the Far West. More details will come as I get them. Frank Darabont has been hired as executive producer for the series.
