The James Morgan Show 2.4

Hi there everyone and welcome to the fourth episode of my second season and today, I'm going to talk about our shows that will air on weekends. That's right, I'm talking about our premium shows ! I know I took a week off last week, but this episode is going to be short and sweet.

Before I jump in and talk about our upcoming shows, I have an official announcement to make. The second season start date has been set in stone, so mark your calendars because we will hit the airwaves again on September 2nd ! The season was supposed to start at mid-August, but the amount of scripts we received so far has been disappointing, so we're giving you guys a little more time to write your shows. Hopefully it will be worth the wait ! (For those of you who haven't send their pilots / first episode, it would nice to have them as soon as possible, the first week is always the longest to set up and we also need to have review it. Thanks for your understanding.

SATURDAY

Manson: We start off strong with a new original drama from the Golden Reel-nominated duo behind the Season 6 drama Deprogramming, executive producer Antonio Campos and writer Lon Charles, about the life of famed cult-leader Charles Manson. The first season is set to tackle the early years of Manson's criminal career. Actor Jim Sturgess has signed on to play Manson.

L.A. Noire: Last Resort Television is also very proud to air a show written by none other than John Malone. The veteran writer and 4-time Best Adaptation winner will adapt Rockstar's hit video game to the small screen. Gavin O'Connor has been hired as executive producer. It also appears as the show has found its Detective Cole Phelps in the form of British actor Joe Alwyn.

SUNDAY

Rolling Stone: The hit show by Oliver Stone and D.R. Cobb will be back for a second season, same time, same channel. Not much is currently known about the plot, but you can expect the major players to return.

Burnt Prairie: The final show of our second season will see writer Chad Taylor tackling a small-town drama with an extensive ensemble cast. The show will follow a small, basketball-obsessed town in Indiana, forced to look itself in the mirror when tragedy strikes. James Ponsoldt signed on as executive producer. The cast is starting to take shape with the signings of Stephan James, John Gallagher Jr., Olivia Holt and Robert Forster.

That will be about it for today's episode and hopefully you like the shows we have so far. I'll be back next Sunday to talk about our shows ! See you next week!
