Hitman 1.2 - The Hong Kong Job

Hitman: The Hong Kong Job
Genre: Action
Director: Francis Lawrence
Writer: Dwight Gallo
Based on the video game series
Cast: Ed Skrein, Charlotte Riley, Christian Berkel, Iain Armitage, Will Arnett, Gabriel Bateman, Karl Roden, Tzi Ma and Li Bingbing

Plot: Agent 47 (Ed Skrein) and his handler Diana Burnwood (Charlotte Riley) sit in a spartan room where she briefs him on his first job for the International Contract Agency. She explains that it won't be a simple job as he can't just kill the target, that he first must play two Triad groups, the Red Dragon Triad and the Blue Lotus Triad, so that there won't be any suspicion surrounding the murder of the head of the Red Dragon Triad, Lee Hong (Tzi Ma). Burnwood stresses that successfully starting a war between the two gangs will be instrumental to killing Hong. 47 boards a privately chartered jet that takes him off to Hong Kong.

FLASHBACK: Young 47 (Iain Armitage) and 6 (Gabriel Bateman) make their first attempt at escaping from the asylum, but they are stopped by security as soon as they jump from a second story window. Dr. Ort-Meyer (Christian Berkel) tells them that they'll have to do better than that if they want to runaway.

Agent 47 arrives at Chiu Dai Park, where business negotiations between representatives from the Blue Lotus and Red Dragon. Diana speaks to him through an earpiece and tells him that he should only kill the Red Dragon negotiator, and that the Blue Lotus representative must survive in order to take the blame. 47 walks by the negotiation, covertly pricking the Red Dragon negotiator with a poisonous needle. 47 keeps walking, nobody the wiser. Suddenly, the Red Dragon member collapses from the poison.

Young 47 and 6 are taken into a medical examination room where they meet Dr. Kovacs (Karl Roden), who gives the two boys an injection. The two boys quickly pass out. Dr. Ort-Meyer and Kovacs talk about how effective the explosive implants Kovacs just implanted in the boys are, and Kovacs tells him that the detonator has a 10 mile range, so as long as the charge is within that range it would effectively kill the person containing it.
Agent 47 plants a car bomb on the car of the Blue Lotus representative, and then follows the car as it drives to the Wang Fou Restaurant, base of operations of the Red Dragon Triad. Once the car stops in front of the restaurant, 47 detonates the bomb, killing the Blue Lotus representative. Diana tells him he did well as now the Blue Lotus Triad will believe that the Red Dragon have retaliated for the death at the park.

Agent 47 enters Cheung Chau Fish Restaurant. He talks to the bartender and orders a drink. Soon, members of the Red Dragon and Blue Lotus arrive surrounded by police to keep the peace as they discuss the recent deaths. 47 turns around and shoots up the restaurant with an Uzi, the weapon of choice of the Red Dragon Triad.

With the police no longer acting as protection for Lee Hong, and the Red Dragon Triad low on members, following the massacre at the Cheunf Chau Fish Restaurant, Agent 47 heads to the Red Dragon base, the Wang Fou Restaurant. When 47 enters the restaurant, he finds it empty. He finds an entrance to a basement, where he finds a large labyrinth of tunnels underneath the restaurant. He encounters a prostitute, Lei Ling (Li Bingbing) locked in a room. She begs him to let her out, but he's not particularly concerned about the plight of a prostitute. She offers to lead him through the tunnels to Lee Hong if he lets her free, which he agrees to. When he lets her out she gives him a big kiss, which he acts indifferently to. She leads him through the tunnels to a torture chamber where Hong is torturing CIA Agent Carlton Smith (Will Arnett). 47 approaches Hong from behind and strangles him with his garrote. 47 prepares to kill Agent Smith as well to cover his tracks before Smith thanks him, on behalf of the United States government for killing Hong.

Agent 47 arrives at the Hong Kong airport, disposing of his guns in a garbage can outside before entering. He gets onto a plane leaving Hong Kong and sits down and closes his eyes. Agent Smith sits down next to him, and begins chatting him about how big of a coincidence it is that they have seats next to each other on the very long flight from Hong Kong to Los Angeles. 47 threatens to kill Smith if he doesn't keep quiet so he can sleep.

Young 47 and 6 have cells next to each other in the asylum and begin communicating about their next escape plan using morse code by tapping on their shared wall. Dr. Ort-Meyer watches this from a video surveillance feed, curious what they're planning.

Search Here - Episode 2
Genre: Comedy
Director: Bill Prady
Writer: H.G. Hansen
Cast: Kathryn Hahn, Malin Akerman, Chris Redd, Danny McBride, Zooey Deschanel, Adam Scott, John Goodman, Christina Applegate, Karen Soni, Missy Peregrym, Mitchell Russo and Jane Lynch

Plot: We start with Deon (Chris Redd) & DJ (Mitchell Russo) watching dank memes and failure videos on GongTube, basically a YouTube rip-off. Deon gets it in his head he should make an epic video to show well he is. DJ isn’t fooled as is Tessa (Missy Peregrym) as she passes by. Tessa makes a comment the only reason he wants to look epic is because the video of Kendrick Lamar is trending like no other video before. DJ laughs as he has watched it like a hundred times already since he wanted to how many times it would get unfunny. Answer never and Tessa agrees. Deon stares at the camera as they share a laugh.
Confessional: Deon talks about how hard it is since that video has gone viral. Even the bagger at the co-op he goes to laughed at his expense.

Richard (Adam Scott) walks in to see what everyone is doing for the streaming services. He sees they’re goofing off and starts to lecture till he sees a funny video of a guy hitting his nuts with a bad shot in a basketball. He tells them without noticing he likes video like this even more cat videos. They stop looking to look at him weirdly. Richard notices it and slowly walks out of the room.

Confessional: Richard talks about how he should keep things to himself most of the time at work. We see cutscenes of cat stickers on his lunch, a kitty sweater as a mock gift, and then a photo of the characters of Shrek but instead Richard’s head in on Puss in Boots. “I mean it wouldn’t be that bad with workplace teasing if everyone didn’t ask how are Shrek and Donkey.”
Confessional: Emily (Malin Akerman) talks how Linda (Kathryn Hahn) and Emily needed to unwind considering how badly the anniversary went and how Emily’s divorce is weighing on her.
We see Linda and Emily going out to lunch at a fancy restaurant. They have a great time as Linda needed this consider how her dad has been nonstop with criticism since the incident. Emily agrees as she can’t imagine anything ruining this moment. She hears a familiar voice of her mother, Cruella Harmony (Jane Lynch), as Emily looks like character in a horror movie hearing the killer behind her. She turns around manically as she sees her mother waves at her from afar. Linda looks concerned as she knows about Emily’s relationship w/ her mother. Emily doesn’t move which Linda asks why. She’s afraid if she moved; her mom could sense her fear and wanna come over. Her mother is suddenly right by her which makes Emily jump. She asks to join which Emily tries to say no but she doesn’t listen and sits down with them. Emily stares at the camera like a “kill-me-now” look.

Melissa (Zooey Deschanel) talks to the group about a possible ad/sponsor for a doll making company. Deon excuses himself for he needs to get ready for his epic video; DJ leaves with him because he wants to anywhere but here. Tessa and Raj (Karen Soni) stay because Tessa needs to find a sponsor since it’s been hard for them after Deon’s fiasco and Raj doesn’t wanna help Nick with his new project. Emily is confused till Nick (Danny McBride) walks in with a ventriloquist dummy, which kinda scares Raj a bit. Tessa dares to ask why does Nick have his hand up a doll’s ass. Nick tells them he gotta be performing at the “Dry Point”, which Tessa notices is the non-alcoholic bar owned by a few ex-nuns. Melissa confused by how that makes sense, Tessa asks if that is really the most interesting thing in the room right now. Nick invites everyone but everyone comes up with sorry excuses why they can’t come. Nick asks why and Raj makes a comment about who would compliment something that looks so evil. Victoria (Christina Applegate) walks by, looks at the dummy, and compliments Nick’s dummy. “See Jeff Dun-Ham, the Ice Queen of Narnia likes your even creepier version of Slappy the Dummy.” Nick shallows his pride and says it’s their loss since he’s been working on his walk in a bar jokes. They stare at each other as Raj takes a guess that the event will be a disaster. Everyone agrees.

Richard (John Goodman) is trying to hide from the other co-workers as he hears meows when he walks by. Tony appears out of nowhere as he asks how Richard is doing. Richard can sense a trap but Tony only comes in peace. If anyone is gonna make funny of Richard it’s gonna be him. Richard confusingly thanks him as Tony has a plan to fix all this.

We go back to Linda’s & Emily’s lunch as Cruella is halfway through a joke about how Emily wore white on picture which happened to be the day of her first period. Emily grabs a waiter with a bottle and asks for another refill, which is her sixth. Linda is kinda uncomfortable as she tries to tell Cruella about how Emily is doing. Cruella isn’t surprised since she now has plenty of time on her hands. Emily then grabs the bottle away from the waiter. Linda tries to defend Emily and how she is doing just fine, but they both see Emily sipping from the bottle now. Emily notices, slowly puts down the bottle, and wipes her chin. Linda looks at with a “Really?!” look. Cruella laughs as she isn’t surprised considering Emily used to have a history with alcohol. Emily rolls her eyes and agrees half-ass as she takes another drink. Linda says that’s not true till Cruella mentions wasn’t it that history is how they both made out in college. Emily shock-spits by that as Linda are shell-shocked. Cruella notices her ride has been waiting for 30 minutes and she really needs to go. “It was nice to see you ladies again… Have fun…” They stare at each other awkwardly.

Nick is practicing a bad joke about how he’s a better dummy than anyone in the White House. Tessa walks in, already regretting it, and demands to know what has happened to the Wi-Fi. Nick acts like he has no idea what she means. The Wi-Fi is working for everyone even Richard’s because Nick would hate for him to miss his cat videos. Tessa tells him to stay on topic as she knows he blocked her off the Wi-Fi because she insulted him about the dummy. “He has a name mind you… Prigali…” Tessa stops herself as how that sounds like a name from a Game of Thrones rip-off. She asks kindly what he wants as he knows it’s killing her by the twitch from the side of her lip. He tells her to convince everyone to go to his show, which she agrees. As she begins to leave, he makes one more request. With some venom in her voice, she asks what else he wants. He wants her to apologize to Prigali. She chuckles and asks if that is a joke. “Well, I didn’t make a joke about how a priest, a black guy, and a duck walk into a bar…” Tessa excuses herself as she’s literally losing her mind not being about to insult him more. “Don’t worry she’ll come around.”

Linda rushed to her office as she is clearly upset with what just happened. Emily tries to explain herself as she tells her mother everything. She’s like a tractor beam for the truth with her never-blinking eyes. Linda doesn’t think that’s an excuse considering how Emily always says if Satan needed someone to take the reins so he can take a vacation, he’d hired her mother. Emily says sorry for the thousandth time as she didn’t see the harm in sharing it. They were in college and very drunk. Richard is walking by with Tony as Richard makes a comment about they should dig into details. “Don’t you have a plate of lasagna to obsess over?” Richard lowers his and walks on as Tony laughs at his expense. Linda makes it clear it doesn’t matter how sorry she is because if Emily can share something like that why should she trust her. Linda walks out as Emily closes the door to scream in frustration.

Deon is in his garage preparing himself to break five cinder blocks. DJ is hesitant as he doesn’t believe this is the way to get his manhood back. Nick and Emily walk in as Deon tells DJ to relax. DJ asks why they are there. Nick doesn’t want to miss this disaster and Melissa wants to encourage Deon on. Also Raj couldn’t come because of Nick’s doll. “It’s a dummy, gosh…” Deon tells them to be silent as he tells DJ to turn on the camera. He fully impacts his hand onto the blocks. There’s a silence till Deon screams in horror holding his hand. Melissa goes to help him as Nick laughs while DJ shakes his head.

Victoria and Linda talk about how Linda has to let go of whatever is going on with her and Emily. Linda is touched by that but Victoria warns her if she tells anyone she helped she’ll deny it.

We are at the Dry Point as its comedy night. Tessa, Melissa, DJ, Deon, who’s now wearing a cast, and Raj are sitting at a table. Melissa is happy Raj can overcome his fear of Nick’s dummy. Raj explains it’s nothing considering how Tessa scared him to be there. Melissa gives her a look to which she shrugs off and takes a drink out of a flask. DJ asks how she got alcohol into a dry bar. She tells him to not worry about it and Deon asks for a swig. Tessa makes joke how he’d need both hands for this drink. Emily walks in and sees Tessa’s flask. She asks for a swig but Tessa warns her it’s almost every kind imaginable except Everclear. “Why not EverClear?” “Because I’m not a drunk.” Emily takes a huge swig to which gets her beyond buzzed.

Tony walks in as he tells Richard to walk in too. Richard is hesitant till Tony pulls him in to show Richard wearing a leather jacket, chaps, and a bandana with biker shades. Richard asks how Tony wears but he finds out it’s his wife’s.

Nick has a scene where he sees Jay Leno and lets him know he’s his idol. Jay thanks him but talks about how that are the third puppet act to compliment him and how retirement has not done him well.

Linda walks in and wants to talk to Emily, which she agrees. Emily takes one more swig and joins her. Linda tries to apologize about how she over reacted. Emily is drunk though and goes for a kiss after saying how nice she is. Emily passes out and Linda now realizes they really only kissed because they were drunk.

Nick does his performance which doesn’t go well and Raj talks how he’s country has place full of crap but this performance is filled with it. Nick angers the crowd as Tessa is enjoying this as much she is with Richard’s Freddie Mercury attire. Nick finally gets laid out by Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw.

Confessional: Everyone talks about their issues and how they resolved them except for Deon who now had a broken hand, and Nick who thinks he’s performance went swimmingly though he can’t find his dummy.

We see Raj sneaking throwing the dummy into a woodchopper.

Gauntlet 1.3 - Week 3

Gauntlet - Week 3
Genre: Sports / Drama
Executive Producer: Antoine Fuqua
Writer: Matt Parker
Cast : William Fichtner, Josh Duhamel, Trevor Jackson, Eric Roberts, John David Washington, Saffron Burrows, Kat Graham, B.D. Wong and Xzibit

Plot: It's the 4th quarter of the Memphis Pharaoh's Week 2 game against the St. Louis Scouts. Memphis is down 3-7 with 4 minutes left in the game. Quarterback Tim Collins (Josh Duhamel) hands the ball off to rookie running back Jefferson Thomas (Trevor Jackson), who quickly fumbles the ball upon first contact with the defense. The commentators announce that it was Thomas' fourth fumble of the game. Pharaohs Head Coach Ken Heath (William Fichtner) pulls Thomas out of the game in disgust. He inserts injured veteran running back Lincoln Tatum (John David Washington) into the game in his place. Thomas throws his helmet against the bench, shattering the helmet. Thomas then kicks over a jug of Gatorade. Coach Heath orders one of his assistants to get Thomas off his sideline. On the field, Collins fakes a screen pass to Tatum and takes the ball up the middle himself for a 15 yard gain and a first down. The clock is still clicking, Collins rushes the team to the line of scrimmage. Tatum is clearly having trouble keeping up with his injured knee, but he insists he is fine. Collins takes the ball and drops back. Tatum attempts to block a blitzing Scouts linebacker, but is taken clear off of his feet, and the Scouts sack Collins for a big loss. The clock is still running, so Collins tells everyone to hurry up. Suddenly Collins' radio feed from the coaches stops working. Unable to hear the play call and short on time, Collins calls the play from the line. He takes the ball, shakes off a couple defenders, and hits an open receiver in the end zone with a touchdown pass as time expires. Coach Heath sighs in relief. It may have been ugly, but his team managed a 9-7 victory over the St. Louis Scouts. Tatum walks off the field, clearly disappointed that he never saw the ball. It's a quieter locker room than one would expect following a win. Everyone is expecting Coach Heath to go ballistic on Thomas, but instead Heath doesn't mention Thomas, nor does he talk to him or even look at him.

The next morning, Tatum wakes up and his knee is very swollen despite his minimal playing time. Thomas wakes up, clearly having partied the night before. He does some cocaine and asks the woman in his bed to leave. Collins wakes up in the bed of Mayor Sharon Matthews (Saffron Burrows). She reminds him that the Memphis tourism commercial she booked for him is shooting later that day. We get a glimpse as Coach Heath's spartan and minimalist house. Heath quietly makes himself a breakfast of eggs and a smoothie and sits down at his kitchen table and eats by himself. When he's done he washes his dishes and puts them back in the cabinet, revealing they're his only ones.

Tatum is at the gym working out, pushing himself to the brink of exhaustion. After his workout he approaches a gym employee, Jerome (Xzibit). They meet in the parking lot, where Jerome sells Tatum some anabolic steroids. Tatum starts taking the steroids in hopes that they will help his muscles recover for the Week 3 and their game on the road against the Los Angeles Royals. Collins is at city hall shooting the tourism commercial. He's not particularly good at reading his lines, however Mayor Matthews tells him he's doing great and that the commercial will be big for the city's tourism industry.

After practice on Tuesday there are murmurs throughout the Pharaoh's practice facility that the league will be doing random drug testing before their next game, selecting two players at random. Tatum worries that the piss test would uncover his recent use of steroids, while Thomas worries that it would reveal his drug use. Pharaohs owner Leonard Palmer (Eric Roberts) comes down to the practice facility to tell Coach Heath that despite the league's drug testing being supposedly random, that he has learned which two players will be tested ahead of time: Tim Collins and Jefferson Thomas. Heath tells Palmer that he doesn't want to know that and goes back to reviewing game film on the Los Angeles Royals. Palmer goes up to Collins and Thomas in the locker room and advises them to avoid anything that could show up on a drug test Sunday morning before their game in California. Collins has nothing to worry about, but Thomas begins panicking.

Thomas talks to the team doctor Dr. Clifford Chen (B.D. Wong) about ways to detox his body, although he says it's to get alcohol out of his system faster rather than cocaine. Chen tells him that he cannot give him any professional opinion on that matter, but discreetly passes him a business card for another doctor. Thomas meets with a doctor who tells him that he can perform a simple surgery that would inject clean urine into his bladder in order to pass any urine analysis test. Thomas tells the doctor he has to think about it. The doctor advises him that since the next game is Sunday night, that the surgery would need to be performed Saturday right before the team flies out to California for their game. The doctor advises him that if Thomas can avoid any drugs up until the game, drinks high levels of water and can get himself to sweat enough, the drugs could be out of his system by Sunday.

Friday night, Thomas is trying his best to avoid the temptations of cocaine, but Nikki (Kat Graham) keeps blowing up his phone with calls and texts about what happened during their car accident. This distresses Thomas to the point that he does one line of cocaine. He then calls the doctor immediately, telling him that he'll be in for the procedure in the morning.

Sunday morning arrives and the Memphis Pharaohs are getting ready for their game in the visitor's locker room in Los Angeles. Collins and Thomas are called in to take a drug test. Once they return from taking their piss tests, Coach Heath announces that due to the events of their last game, Lincoln Tatum will be starting at running back instead of Thomas.

On the Pharaohs' first play of the game, Collins hands the ball off to Tatum, who drives the ball up the middle, breaking a tackle. Just as it looks like he will take it for a touchdown, the Los Angeles Royals strong safety manages to hit Tatum at the knee. Tatum, screams in agony, and drops the ball. The Royals recover the fumble and return it for a touchdown while Tatum is writhing on the ground, clutching his knee. Dr. Chen and his team rushes out onto the field. Dr. Chen looks over at Coach Heath and simply shakes his head. Heath then yells at Thomas, telling him to get loose and ready to go.

Survivor: Last Resort: Cape Verde 1.2 - Episode 2

Survivor: Last Resort: Cape Verde 1.2 - Episode 2
Writer: Chad Taylor

The two tribes meet with Jeff Probst, where the Brava tribe discover that Sarah was voted out in the first Tribal Council. Jeff tells them that the winner of the next immunity challenge will also get the reward of a fishing kit. This is music to the ears of the Brava tribe, who have yet to make fire.

The atmosphere in the Togo tribe is tense. Gail is angry at Puma but Rosa calms her down from lashing out. Meanwhile, Jose and Chad are smug about successfully pulling off the blindside. Kaiser pulls Jim aside and thanks him for the way her voted.

At Brava, Francis is bummed but decides not to reveal to the others that Sarah was his wife. However, his spirits are lifted by Rajon, Laura and Chase - three people he has befriended. The group don’t solidify any alliance but do promise to have each other’s backs. When it is just those two, it is clear that a flirtatious bond is forming between Laura and Chase. In confessional, Laura admits that she likes him but with the caveat that it really hard to really fall for someone while on a deserted island. They can’t even take normal showers!

Meanwhile, Sally has started building a relationship with the close duo of Fiona and Megan. In confessional, she admits that she doesn’t really feel bonded to them but she needs allies who can do her dirty work throughout the game. This leaves Jim Bonds unaccounted for, which he is more than fine with. He is still an isolating figure on the tribe - some folks finding his schtick endearing while others are annoyed by it.

Francis wanders off in the woods by himself. In confessional, he admits that he knows that he is not putting his all towards helping the camp even though he is a hard worker in a hard profession. Seeing that Sarah was voted out reminded him that he is here for himself and so his focus is not here to see how much he nice of a camp he can build but for the $2 million grand prize. He searches the trees and plants for a Hidden Immunity Idol but comes out empty-handed.

Back at Togo camp, Chad and Jose are acting very relaxed, almost cocky. Kaiser is good at reading people and tells them that they need to tone it down as it has only been one Tribal Council. There are still plenty to go before you can get self-congratulatory. Heeding his advice, Chad and Jose help Puma and Jim try to to start the fire and it is a success.

Rose and Gail have isolated themselves and are trying to determine their next move now that they are clearly in the minority. They both open up to each other about their personal lives - how Gail has felt like an outsider most of her life and how she promised herself she wouldn’t feel that way here. Rose can empathize with Gail as she grew up in a cult and it has always affected the way she fits in with the world. She wanted to become a therapist because she realized how helpful cathartic conversation was for her getting over her past trauma. They hug each other.

The tribes meet for the immunity challenge. This one is a classic test of strength: a muddy floating platform is in the middle of a shallow pond and contestants from each tribe must face off in a series of randomly-selected one-on-one showdowns. The goal is simply to force your opponent off of the platform. First team to 4 victories wins tribal immunity. Since Sarah was voted out, a female from Brava must sit out and they choose Megan.

The first match is Francis versus Kaiser, which proves to be a difficult task for Francis given Kaiser’s sheer size. However, his lack of athletic ability whatsoever is his downfall and Francis finally nudges him off. Puma vs. Laura is next and is very competitive. Unfortunately for Laura, Puma is trained in this kind of combat and knocks her off. The third match-up is Jose and Chase. Despite being a professional athlete, Jose’s mindgames work to his advantage and he is able to maneuver Chase off of the platform. 2-1 Togo.

Gail versus Fiona is one of the weaker match-ups with Fiona coming out victorious. This demoralizes the Brava tribe, who had a chance to go up 3-1. Next is Chad and Rajon, two of the strongest men in the game. Chad wins the intense battle and puts Togo up 3-2. The sixth match-up is Rose and Sally - two women of similar stature. However, Sally is much more agile and makes quick work of Rose. This sets up a final showdown between the two Jims. While, like the previous match-up, the two have a similar height and weight. It becomes clear that Bonds is much more physically fit than most people his age (because if he lets his body go, he won’t be a believable Bond). Bonds ends up victorious and the Brava tribe win a second straight immunity challenge.

There is definite frustration at the Togo camp after two straight competition losses. Once again, things fracture as Gail and Rose leave to go take a walk on the beach. The remaining five talk and discuss who they should vote for between the two. Gail is better suited in athletic competitions but Rose is nice to have around the camp. Kaiser and Jim lean towards keeping Rose while the other three are more competition-focused so they want her gone. Jim reluctantly gives in but Kaiser is still stumping for Gail to go - again knowing that he doesn’t want physical ability to be used as a determinant for who goes home.

Upon coming to the consensus, everyone goes their separate ways. Jim goes hunting for the Hidden Immunity Idol, unaware that it has already been found. Gail and Rose are determined not to give up just yet. In confessional, Rose talks about how she came on this show to prove that she is worthy on her own and not the product of who raised her. She tells Gail that they should try to talk to Puma and Jim.

Rose encounters Puma and asks her how she feels about the vote tonight and to be honest. Puma is partially honest and says that the Chad/Jose/Kaiser is targeting her and Gail - specifically Gail. Rose is defensive of this, asking why are they a threat at this point? They’re clearly in the minority. Puma, ever so blunt, points out that they are two of the weaker components of the tribe. Rose is dumbfounded and asks how this can be true when Kaiser is still in the group. This clearly sticks with Puma and she says she will talk with Jim.

In private, Puma brings up Rose’s points. Jim does admit that he is worried that power has gotten to that trio’s head and that he will be their next target after Rose. Not to mention that Kaiser did not help with the fire-making at all. He asks Puma if she is ready to be in the swing vote position for the second week in a row. In confessional, Puma yells that of course she is ready to be in this spot - she lives for this.

At Tribal Council, they discuss the void that Sarah left and how that has affected tribe dynamics. Chad downplays the effect, pointing out that they were able to successfully start a fire on their own. Gail sees it differently and makes the counter-point that they still lost both of the challenges. When the topic of challenge losses comes up, Puma is again blunt about who she thinks has caused the issues: Kaiser and Rose. Rose responds first, saying that not all of the challenges are athletic based while Kaiser seems totally nonplussed about Puma’s comment. He says that there are more to this game than winning challenges. Jose agrees with Kaiser and points out that Rose and Gail have isolated themselves since Sarah left. This angers Gail, who points out that it is because they’re targeting them for no apparent reason!

Amidst the chaos, Jeff says that it is time to vote. Each player goes to the voting booth and writes a name on the parchment.

Before he reads the votes, Jeff says that if anyone has a Hidden Immunity Idol, now would be the time to play it. Kaiser looks nervously to Jim and Chad but they are in their world, not worried about the vote at all. Just before Jeff can speak, Kaiser raises his hand and says he has something to say. He stands up and says that he will not allow this game to be run on athletic merit. He doesn’t know if he is being voted on tonight but he is playing his Hidden Immunity Idol anyways. Probst verifies the Idol and says that any votes against Kaiser will not count.

First vote...Kaiser, does not count

….Dr. Kaiser, does not count

…...Kaiser, does not count

Jose whips his head towards Jim, knowing that Jim and Puma must have flipped.

….Kaiser, does not count

……….Rose

….The second person voted off of the Survivor: Last Resort...Rose.

Puma lets her face fall into her palms while Jim looks impressed by the move. Chad and Jose are pissed while Kaiser has a smile on his face, as they had all week. Gail gives Rose a long hug before her torch is snuffed. Rose, the Tribe has spoken.

In her post-show confessional, Rose is pretty mellow about her being voted out. Kaiser does not seem the type that would go idol-hunting so it didn’t even cross her mind. She is proud at having been able to sway Puma and Jim, even if it was for naught in the end.

Votes for Kaiser: Rose, Gail, Jim, Puma

Votes for Rose: Kaiser, Chad, Jose
