  16. Hype 3.71
Before we conclude our episode with Power Rankings, we have an important announcement from CEO, Mo Buck.

With our season rapidly coming to an end, it's now time to give the renewals for our upcoming Season 3. Some shows were announced last week and another batch of shows will get a renewal this week. Here are the shows that will live to see another season :

Now, it's time for…

1. NEZ PERCE
(Last Week: 1)
Writer: Dwight Gallo / Executive Producer: Scott Cooper
While not the most exciting episode of the season, "Atlas" continued the overwhelming sense of dread that has been building throughout the season.

2. MANSON
(Last Week: 2)
Writer: Lon Charles / Executive Producer: Antonio Campos
The so-called "Manson Family" is almost all together as the season slowly starts wrapping up. It's been very interesting to see how each of the supporting characters comes under the spell of Charlie.

3. ROLLING STONE
(Last Week: 3)
Writer: D.R. Cobb / Executive Producer: Oliver Stone
It's always great seeing Stephen Dorff's Hunter S. Thompson on the show, with this season covering a pivitol moment in his career.

4. BURNT PRAIRIE
(Last Week: 4)
Writer: Chad Taylor / Executive Producer: James Ponsoldt
It was nice getting to see more of Kristin Chenoweth in this episode, along with an appearance from the great Will Patton. It will be interesting to see how Robert Forster's untimely death affects the series going forward.

5. L.A. NOIRE
(Last Week: 5)
Writer: John Malone / Executive Producer: Gavin O'Connor
Weller's Harlan Fontaine is making for a creepy presence in the background of the series, but I'd like to see more development of Cole Phelps (and some more Jack Kelso wouldn't hurt).

6. SHOWTIME
(Last Week: 6)
Writers: Mo Buck & Chad Taylor / Executive Producer: Steven Soderbergh
Showtime works best when it gives the characters room to breath and interact with one another, which is what happened in this episode. Even with its large ensemble cast, each of the characters are clearly defined, which is a testament to the writers.

7. GAUNTLET
(Last Week: 7)
Writer: Matt Parker / Executive Producer: Antoine Fuqua
Similar to the writing of Showtime's ensemble, Matt Parker knows the cast of Gauntlet inside and out. After a more football centric episode, it was nice to see the series get back to its macho soap roots last week.

8. RUBBER CITY ROCKERS
(Last Week: 8)
Writer: D.R. Cobb / Executive Producer: David Wain
There were some great callback jokes this week with Ronny and his parents and Bible Betty.

9. CALL MY AGENT
(Last Week: 11)
Writer: Dominic Wilkins / Executive Producer: Jason Reitman
I loved the absurdity of this episode with Martin Freeman's guest performance generating plenty of laughs.

10. HAVE GUN - WILL TRAVEL
(Last Week: 10)
Writer: Dwight Gallo / Executive Producer: Frank Darabont
Benedict Wong's Chan got plenty to do this week, giving a great performance alongside Walton Goggin's Paladin.

11. THE SURVIVORS
(Last Week: 9)
Writer: Mo Buck / Executive Producer: Tomas Alfredson
Brendan Fraser and Logan Lerman are really carrying the series for me. Even though Lerman initially felt miscast, he's a good enough actor to make up for it once you get used to him in the role.

12. SURVIVOR: LAST RESORT
(Last Week: 13)
Writer: Chad Taylor
The series is getting more interesting each week as some of the less interesting contestents continue to fall by the way side.

13. SHE-HULK
(Last Week: 14)
Writer: Chad Taylor / Executive Producer: Phoebe Waller-Bridge
The deep cut Marvel references in this episode were a lot of fun to decipher.

14. MIAMI VICE
(Last Week: 15)
Writer: Roy Horne / Executive Producer: Peter Berg
It was nice to be back in Miami, and the show brought out some big name guest stars for its return to the Sunshine State.

15. HYPE
(Last Week: 12)
Writer: Dominic Wilkins / Executive Producer: Stephen Merchant
I feel like I must've missed something over the weeks, because Sarah's scheme is making less sense to me as the series goes on. Thankfully, the performances are still strong.

16. HITMAN
(Last Week: 17)
Writer: Dwight Gallo / Executive Producer: Francis Lawrence
Hopefully Hitman is back on the right track after last week's solid, mostly self-contained episode featuring a hilarious performance from Will Arnett.

17. HUMAN

(Last Week: 16)
Writer: Ann Morrow / Executive Producer: Michelle MacLaren
There were some good moments this week, but I'm honestly having trouble telling some of the characters apart as they are not always distinct.

See you next week!
