For Your Consideration.... Best Supporting Actor (Part 2)

I'm Harry Wright and welcome to the first ever For Your Consideration segment of Last Resort Television. As we prepare for the 1st Golden Views Awards, I thought it was a great idea to give you a little reminder of the roles played by the supporting actors that will be featured in the nomination ballot. Here's the second part.

Alfred Molina - Lady of the House
Alfred Molina plays Frank Reisinger, the conservative and over-zealous husband of Polly Reisinger, in Lady of the House. Frank manages his own factory and all his success in the business side of his life doesn't translate to his personal life.

Vincent Kartheiser - Lady of the House
Vincent Kartheiser plays Roy Joseph, the Reisingers' new neighbour, in Lady of the House. Not really sure of himself and lacking the confidence that Frank possesses, the time he shares with the Reisingers often feels awkward due to how different they are, even if Roy tries to up himself to Frank's level.

Colm Feore - Leaving Everything
Colm Feore plays French Canadian painter Paul-Emile Borduas, in Leaving Everything. The pillar of the cultural and artistic movement trying to free the province from its ultra-conservative government, Borduas' actions put him under scrutiny, but his desire to have a full artistic freedom will force to flee, to go in exile, alongside his students, who see him as their mentor.

Lance Henriksen - Leaving Everything
Lance Henriksen plays Francis, Anna's uncle and Marcel's son, in Leaving Everything. Francis was hospitalized from a young age after he never managed to get over the disappearance of both his father and mother. When he meets with Anna, his niece, the first family member to care about him for a long time, he starts to get better as he starts to cope with his devastating past.

Andy Garcia - Miami Vice
Andy Garcia plays Lt. Martin Castillo, in Miami Vice. After the previous lieutenant is killed on duty, Martin Castillo is hired as the new lieutenant. Professional and serious, Castillo just wants to do his job and will protect his officers no matter what. His past comes back to haunt him, from the time he was working in the Golden Triangle when he sees his long lost wife again and an old enemy of his.

Brad William Henke - Miami Vice
Brad William Henke plays Stan Switek, a colleague of Crockett and Tubbs, in Miami Vice. Partnering with Larry Zito, Switek forms the third duo of the Miami Police Department alongside Crockett and Tubbs and Gina and Trudy. Often providing backup for our two main characters, Switek is a brute, but still a good cop.

Gil Birmingham - Nez Perce
Gil Birmingham plays Toohoolhoolzote, a senior member of the tribe, in Nez Perce. His name may be hard to pronounce and spell, but Toohoolhoolzote will be remembered. One of Chief Joseph's brothers, Toohoolhoolzote is captured by Howard, which triggers his hatred towards the Americans. He's one the Nez Perce that leads a group of warriors in the confrontations.

Martin Sensmeier - Nez Perce
Martin Sensmeier plays Ollokot, one of Chief Joseph's brothers, in Nez Perce. Ollokot is the one to stand by his brother's side no matter what and accompanies him in his desire to avoid a war with the white men. His stubbornness about standing by his brother creates tension within the tribe that Ollokot has to deal with.

James Urbaniak - Rolling Stone
James Urbaniak plays Ralph J. Gleason, a consulting editor for the Rolling Stone magazine, in Rolling Stone. Gleason seems to take a liking to Brady, as he gives him various assignments right from the start, a sign of confidence from one of the editors. A true professional at heart, Gleason takes his job seriously and is a competent editor.

Karl Glusman - Rolling Stone
Karl Glusman plays Jann Wenner, the co-founder and publisher of the Rolling Stone magazine, in Rolling Stone. A former student of Brady, he decides to hire his former teacher after he covers the Alamont concert. Wenner provides Brady with great advice to Brady to ensure that his newest writer doesn't end up like the previous one, Hunter S. Thompson.
