Plot : Gerald (Brendan Fraser) is cutting the grass in front of an old house as Charles (Logan Lerman) helps him with the landscaping. Sarah (Odeya Rush) is preparing lunch in the kitchen. Marco (Owen Vaccaro) is trying to set up the computer in his room, but he’s clueless. Mary (Cara Buono) is in a bedroom with Judy (Jodelle Ferland). She asks him if she feels good today as she heals her wounds. Judy says she’s alright and thanks her for doing this, she really doesn’t have to. Mary says she can make an effort for her future stepdaughter, winking at Judy, who was starring at Charles out of the window. Horace (M. Emmet Walsh) complains that it is too hot in the house and they should open all the windows. Marco, tired of hearing his grandfather complain decides to turn on the air conditioner. They look on, scared of what this machine might do and are relieved when they find out that it only shoots cool air. Horace congratulates him on being the tech wizard, he always knew he was the brain in the family. He wonders where he got it, his father has never been smart and his mother is a religion-obsessed woman who slept with his brother-in-law. Mary, who’s out of the room is angry at Horace and she says she doesn’t to talk about it again. Judy is surprised to learnt that Charles isn’t Gerald’s son and she says she never knew Mary was that kind of woman. Mary is angry now and she says the issue is a thing of the past and she doesn’t want to talk about it anymore. Dinner is ready.

At dinner, Gerald asks everyone how they like their new house and everybody says it’s not their old house, but it’ll do just fine, given the circumstances. Gerald asks the family to do the prayer before they eat and he invites their new guest Judy to recite it. Gerald, who’s unsure who Judy is, asks her to tell him a bit about herself. She says she was born in the mid forties and just like them, she travelled through time and found herself in 2019. Gerald wanted to know more about her relationship with Charles, but Charles wants to change the subject before he gets too embarrassed. He asks if anyone learned anything new today and Horace says he likes the air conditioner very much. Marco tells them about a computer and a printing machine, showing them the Google page he printed over at Judas’. Gerald takes the sheet away from him. He asks Charles if he recognizes the man from Chartwell’s place and he says he does. Gerald asks Marco if he can find the address of this gentleman and Horace praises his grandson. They can’t believe how good he is with the computer and they find a list of all the Steven Mondoux in Montreal. They say he did a good job and Gerald asks Charles to come with him. They’ll pay this time-travelling scientist a visit.

After they left, Sarah drags Judy into her room and she says she really needs to talk to someone about it. Judy says she doesn’t really know, she should talk to her mother instead, but Sarah refuses. She’s going to be blunt and she asks Judy to promise not to freak out and she promises she won’t. She tells Judy she’s pregnant and Judy slaps her on the hand mockingly telling her that she’s a rebel because she’s pregnant out of wedlock. Judy says it’s fantastic and she asks her if she knows the father. Sarah says she might and she’ll use the magic machine (computer) to find him!

Gerald and Charles are at their second address in the search of Steven Mondoux. They knock on the door and Steven (Graham Phillips) answers. Gerald had his hands up in the air and it let his gun show. Steven starts to freak out and he asks them if they came to finish the job. Gerald asks him what he’s talking about and he sees mess in the apartment. He points out they have a picture of him, his address and a gun. It all points to a bounty hunter. Gerald asks him if he’s Steven Mondoux, the man who claims he can travel in time. Steven really thinks they are here to kill him and he tries to run away. Charles gets to him and Gerald helps him to bring him back to the car. Steven can’t believe he’s getting kidnapped and Gerald says he hopes he’ll help them.

Judy went in the attic and found an old baby crib. She cleaned it and with the help of a clueless Marco, she brings it down to Sarah’s room. She grabs decoration from the attic and she places them in Sarah’s room. She goes in the computer room to get Sarah to show her. When they come back, Mary is in the room and ask them what the hell is this. Judy can feel she made a mistake.

Ben McRae (Donald Sutherland) is taking a look at the box of stuff he has about Gerald and his family. He reminds himself about how he bad he looked for them. He talks to himself and comments on the newspaper clippings and articles, about the bullshit these were. He couldn’t even think that Gerald would do this. When he saw him the other day, he knew he was involved in something bigger than him, but he should’ve realised it in the 1960’s. That was his first big mistake, not taking the threat seriously. The arson didn’t target people, he targeted something else and he never understood it. The man who came to see him asked him to throw Gerald off the case and he did. He shouldn’t have done it, he should’ve arrested that man… Chartwell was his name he believes. He says that’s what happens and he’s ashamed of it, the low point of his career. Ben looks scared he looks across the room. Victor (Michael Mando) is standing up, telling Ben that he knows too much. Ben realises that the man standing in front of him was alongside Chartwell back in the sixties, but he never knew his name. Victor walks forwards and he says death is his name and he has come to claim him. He knows too much and he must be silenced. Victor chokes Ben out and leaves him dead in his chair, before walking away.
