Now, here's a generic message
I'm hard at work to find another segment of my show that would make it a little more interesting. If you have any ideas, you can just share them with me in a message or in the LRTV discussion threads of the Last Resort Films board.
Let's talk about that rule change now, shall we?
As you're probably aware by now, we have filled our schedule for the second season of Last Resort Television and it will now feature 18 shows, compared to the eleven that we currently have. More shows means more work for us and it also means more dedication from our viewers and that's you.
Some board members already applauded the fact that most of the writers reduced the length of their shows as the season went along and we are all grateful for it, it is way more manageable that way.
Your dedicated board of directors at the Last Resort brand have approved a rule change that will see the maximum number of words per episode decrease to 1,500 or potentially 1,250. As I previously said, most shows are already within that limit, so it doesn't require much adaptation from our writers. We already received pilot episodes and we agreed that the pilot limit would stay at 2,000, so no worries about that.
I already know that this rule change will kickstart a debate, so we would like to know what you think about it. Please comment in the designated board section that will be created by Mo as soon as my show airs. There will be a survey to ask you which limit we should implement you are free to share your thoughts in that same thread.
Now, for the Trivia section!
Sandbox: This is the biggest budget of Edgar Wright's career as a director, almost three times his previous highest he had with Baby Driver. Both films grossed about the same, but Sandbox grossed a bit more, becoming the highest-grossing film of Wright's career.
The Raven : This is without a doubt the highest grossing film in Dan Gilroy's career, grossing almost five times more than Nightcrawler, which grossed $38M
Mass Effect 3 - Part 1: Of all the back-to-back film production, Mass Effect 3 in on its way to become the most expensive two-part films in history. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 are the most expensive two parters in history with an estimated $300M budget. The first part of Mass Effect 3 alone cost $265M.
Buried Child: Buried Child may be the surprise hit of the season at the box office, but history shows that Eastwood's days as a leading man are far from over and the performance of Buried Child, domestically, is even low compared to his usual numbers (The Mule, Gran Torino, Million Dollar Baby)
