Herb asks who Mr. S and why is all this is happening. Milton doesn’t know but hands Herb something. Herb looks to see Milton die. Herb calls it in as he looks to see a piece of paper folded up. Herb looks at it and makes a face like he just discovered something.

Night by Kavinsky ft. Lovefoxx plays as the title in hot pink "DRIVE" display over the city of Phoenix, AZ. The city looks a little bit darker than usual as if an eerie feeling clouds the city.

Driver is taking a shower as we some scars or various marks on him. He dreams about what’s been happening to him, from Mia (Jessica Paré) dying to the violence that’s happened to finally meeting Mr. S, or Samuel. He remembers though the time Mia shown his violent side. A group of men tried to kill him and she and Driver didn’t hold anything back. Flashes of the violence sting in his mind as if they cause him pain to remember them all. The last one is finding Mia dead to this makes him turn off the shower. Silence fills his mind as he hears Mia’s voice, “Why did you kill those men?” … “I didn’t want to… I just…”

We go to a scene where Driver and Mia are cuddling. Driver looks peaceful like everything is gone and it’s only her and him. “Is it the same reason you don’t talk about your old life?” Driver nods as Mia looks him like she sees him for the first time. “Do you think I’m a monster?” “Do you…?” Driver looks deep into her eyes “Not when I’m with you…” “Then I guess I’m gonna have to stick around…”

Daisy (Chloe Bennett) is in the living room as she looks at old photos of her with Rita (Aubrey Plaza) and her sister, Mia. Driver exits the bathroom and goes to look for whatever could be a weapon. Daisy walks into the room and asks what he is doing. He doesn’t answer as he grabs some cans of something flammable or knives. She tries to convince Driver to just find away to get S arrested, that he doesn’t need to kill him. Driver continues on as he gets ready to leave. She now loses it as she tells him Mia wouldn’t want this or want to see him become this version of himself. Driver looks at her and tells her how getting someone like Samuel arrested will only delay this further.

Seth Corbin (Dominic Cooper) walks onto the scene as Herb is telling another officer what happened. Herb explains to Seth what’s going on how Milton was working for a guy named Mr. S and how Peter Ridge said something of the same. Seth talks to him privately that the person he’s talking about Mr. S is something of an underground ghost story. He only takes on hits to only be paid in favors. He was raised by a psychopath who took kids off the streets to make them into killing machines. One day that man was reported dead and Mr. S became a shadow. Till one day after a robbery in LA that turned into a shit storm, Mr. S started popping back up asking about the man who escaped it. Herb thinks Driver and S knew each other when they were young. Seth tells Herb to be careful for S will certainly be noticing him from now on. He part of this war now.

A group of mean people sits in a dark room only lighted by what looks like neon lights. Mr. S starts a monologue about how every man has obstacles and how obstacles can be rewarding. The Driver is in Phoenix and everyone who’s anyone knows that the bounty the mob has on him is good enough reward alone. But Mr. S offers that if anyone can bring him alive he’ll double it. Long Shot (David Boreanaz) wonders why S would do a thing like that. S smiles sinisterly as he wants to know what would happen. Ammo (John Cena) asks if they can rough him up, he didn’t come all this way to fight the one man army for nothing. Mr. S looks at everyone and says “You’re right, what would be the fun in that?”

Driver visits Moses (Morris Chestnut) who turns him away but Driver tells him why he is doing this. He tells him about how he’s a wanted man by the mob to about Mia to who Mr. S really is. Moses appreciates the honesty but he is turning him away because he finally sees the look Driver has in his eyes. He’s gonna do something about all this and it’ll lead to absolute chaos. Driver tells its one last request and they can be done. Driver asks for him to do the thing he promised he’d never ask. Moses agrees as he doesn’t wanna see him again.

Mr. S stares at his fish tank as one of his henchmen tell him all the “guests” have left and the party is about to begin. Mr. S smiles as he gets up to look at him. He would like to be happy about that but it’s come to his attention that their informant from the police was killed. The henchman is shocked to hear that because now S knows main detective Herb is now on their ass. The henchman tries to explain they can take care of it but Mr. S has a better plan. S takes out a butterfly knife, with a wasp on it, lighting quick and stabs the man repeatingly in the neck. S takes pleasure in this as he finally gets to use his “father’s knife” He uses the henchman’s shirt to wipe the blood away then nudges him to fall on the ground.

Daisy is out getting groceries and many different appliances as Driver took some of hers. She meets a man who looks very charming as he helps her with her groceries. She sees a gun in the back of his pants. Daisy quickly tries to get away from him but he is quick to get her in the car and drive to her place. Daisy gets into the car as does the gunman but quickly the seatbelt tightens against him as Driver appears. He fights with the man as he takes him into the backseat with him. The man gets the upper hand as he looks to strangle Driver but Daisy grabs his gun and shoots him in the hip. This helps Driver to twist the backseat seat belt around his neck to the point it won’t come off. Daisy is still shocked but Driver tells her to give him the front seat. Daisy is confused but a car roars to life behind them. Daisy quickly moves and Driver grabs the front wheel. He goes to tell get her seatbelt but remembers what just happened and apologizes for poor choice of words. He tells her to hold on as he grips the wheel as the sound of his gloves rub against the rubber. He gives a look as he prepares for the beginning of the end. The car roars to live and sets off as the other car chases after him. Herb appears in his car and follows. Mr. S stands in his flat as he watches on as we see a portrait of the man who raised him along with Driver and Samuel as kids. And a blood stained hammer in a glass case.
