Hello LRF world and welcome to the latest episode of the James Morgan Show! As our first seasons gets closer and closer to release, I am here today to tell you a little more about our different productions. With that said, I'm afraid that I won't have information about two of our shows since they haven't been officially announced yet, but you'll get a nice idea of our completed schedule once this episode of the James Morgan Show is over.
As it's a series based on the film of the same name, the studio put of a lot of efforts to try and emulate the film's look and style. Drew Goddard was hired as executive producer after lenghty negociations. Dan Stevens will star as The Driver, with Peter Capaldi, Jessica Paré, Bruce Campbell, Morris Chestnut and Norman Reedus joining him. Capaldi will play Peter Ridge, an Irish mobster and strip club owner. Paré will play the Driver's wife Mia. Campbell will play a policeman, Chestnut Driver's friend Moses Maloney and Reedus will play the mysterious Mr. S. The production budget for this series is reportedly close to $1.5 M per episode. H.G. Hansen writes the script.
Shown on Friday nights, this situation comedy will star Kathryn Hahn and Malin Akerman as the two co-bosses of search engine company. They will be joined by Chris Redd, Danny McBride, Zooey Deschanel, Adam Scott, John Goodman, Christina Applegate, Karen Soni and Missy Peregrym, who will all play employees at the company. Bill Prady, co-creator of the Big Bang Theory will act as showrunner, with H.G. Hansen writing the script. Production ballooned up to more than $1.2M with about 80 % of the budget going to the cast members.
This video game adaptation will get about $1.5M per episode during its run. The fairly unexpensive cast made the studio able to give more money for the production. Hitman is one of the show with the most money awarded to the production. The Saturday time is viewers friendly and the studio is confident that they will be able to recoup the cost.
It costs a lot of money to bring Oliver Stone to the TV world, but the studio didn't hold back in contract negociations, making Stone the highest-paid showrunner amongst the shows it has in production. It was really important for the executives to have the show shot on location and with the historical nature of the show, a lot of money will be put in production. All around, this show will have a budget rumored to be higher than $2M, which is a lot of money.
That will be all for me today! Tomorrow is the official start of Season 1 of Last Resort Television and I hope you're as ready as we are! I'll see you next week for the first James Morgan Show, as I consider all these previous episodes out of canon. I'll get down to the real business next week! See you next time!
