Now, here's a generic message
I'm hard at work to find another segment of my show that would make it a little more interesting. If you have any ideas, you can just share them with me in a message or in the LRTV discussion threads of the Last Resort Films board.
I quickly mentioned in the opener that a show we optioned for a second season turned down the offer and won't be coming back. That's true... sort of. That show is none other than...
For those of you who watched the first season might be wondering why writer Chad Taylor has decided to opt out of the second season after the cliffhanger finale, but rest assured people, we came up with a deal. Chad Taylor will conclude the story, with Last Resort Television first ever television movie. The details are yet to come, but I can assure you that the film will conclude the story and it air somewhere during our two-month break. I'm pretty sure Chad will have something to say about that, so instead of saying something that won't be true or anything, I'll let him do the talking, if he wants to.
Next week will be an award-centered James Morgan Show, but for now, here's the Trivia section!
Now, for the Trivia section!
To the Other Side: Mo Buck wrote this film so long ago that he had to read the script again to remember the story, as he had no idea what the film was about when it popped up in the In Development section. He really didn't remember.
The Raid: Much like every other foreign remake from Last Resort Films, The Raid remake has a rocky road to the screen. It started all the way back in 2014, with the Hemsworth brothers set to star. Various directors were hired and dropped out, most notably Patrick Hughes. Taylor Kitsch signed on in 2014, but later dropped out. He ended up starring in the LRF version.
Odette: This is the first time that I'm able to drop a reference from Last Resort Television, so here I come. Odette continues the streak Elijah Wood wanted so badly to end in the fifth episode of Call My Agent. All four of his LRF roles have been in films in the fantasy genre.
