Charles (Adrian Rawlins) is sleeping, when he suddenly wakes up. He has an idea to keep them happy and prevent another depressive episode like yesterday. His parrot keeps telling him that will not work, but he stopped listening to the bird. He upgrades their respective houses and he even creates an identical dog for Julia, so she doesn’t miss it. The are now living in a small paradise and they surely won’t complain. He recreates two identical androids to the ones who caught fire and he wants to use them as props to keep his puppets entertained. He’s so determined that it will work that he messes up with the simulation to advance the time so it’s daytime outside. He receives a notification on his phone reminding him that he has a board meeting asking for an update tomorrow and they want tangible proofs that it will work. He certainly hopes that it will work, because he can’t show two depressed androids and melancholic humans.
Julia and Adam are surprised by the fast sunrise and get up. They haven’t slept all night. Julia is hungry. She notices the changes to the house and doesn’t mind it. She starts to make breakfast and their kitchen window has a look on Adam’s kitchen. Adam smiles at Julia who smiles back. They make breakfast and they eat with their respective androids, while talking about the weather. They need to develop that small talk. James wants to head out of town today and Adam thinks it’s a good idea, only to realise that their car is gone. It saddens James and Adam points out that James’ morale isn’t really good. He’s been chasing Julia for years now and only showed his sadness yesterday. Not everything should sadden you. Right now, James is acting like a child and when he’s a grown man. James agrees and toughens up. They get out of the house and meet with Julia and Eva on their front lawn. They discuss about their new houses, when Jacob (Theodore Pelletin) and Mary (Stefanie Scott) arrive.
James and Eva are happy to see their friends back and it’s just like they never left. They start chasing each other, like children playing tag, but Julia prevents them from getting too far away, they can’t afford to lose them. It leaves her alone with Adam, which makes for an awkward moment. Adam asks her if she slept and she says she hasn’t. Their conversation is interrupted by a familiar sound for Julia. Her dog runs in her direction and jumps on her. She’s so happy to see it and she leaves Adam to spend time with her dog. Adam is left alone and sits on the ground, contemplative. He suddenly receives a communication from Charles. A speaker appears in front of him and Charles talks with him. Charles asks him how it’s going, and Adam says it’s not good. Chares says it’s not so bad and they made some significant progress. Adam snaps. He says it may be all good and they may have made progress, but it doesn’t change from the fact that they are stuck in here. He asks Charles if he did anything to get them out of here and Charles says they have made so much progress that he hasn’t given it any thought. Adam can’t believe it. He refuses to work until Charles disconnects them. He throws the speaker away and lays on the gourd. Charles tries to communicate with him through the clouds and Adam runs inside. Charles moves writes on the walls giving him directions and Adam stops moving and he screams. Julia runs back inside with her dog and he tells her what happened.
James and Eva are with Jacob and Mary. Charles made up a restaurant for them to eat in and they are eating at a fancy place. The waitress is Mary and she notes that they are such a cute couple. James reminds her that Julia forbids them to have an intimate relationship and Mary says it’s shame, they are so cute together. They order whatever the chef wants to cook them and share a moment together. They tell each other what they like about the other. James says he likes Eva’s easygoing manner and the way she laughs. Eva likes James’ attention and the way he looks at him. James tells Eva how he feels about her and how he’s sad that they can’t be together. At the same time, Adam reveals his true love to Julia and how he feels about her. With the recent development, he found out that he may have to spend the rest of his life here and he doesn’t want to live unhappy forever after here. He’s not sure they can die here. Charles has lost his mind and he doesn’t think he’ll let them out until they are done. Julia leans forward and kisses him, she feels the same way, why leave her unhappy when you can enjoy every moment of it. They lean back on the bed as James and Eva casually kiss at the restaurant, so shy, like a young teen couple.
