The James Morgan Show 2.7

I have a shocking news for today, so tune in to find out what it is!

MONDAY

The Survivors: The expanding cast of the time-travelling sci-fi drama from Mo Buck and Tomas Alfredson added Krysten Ritter, Donald Sutherland, Jesse Bradford and Jodelle Ferland to its cast. The veteran Sutherland will play Gerald's (Brendan Fraser) former boss and Ritter will play his daughter, a cop herself. Bradford will play a younger version of Sutherland's character in flashback sequences while Ferland will play a young woman who befriends Charles (Logan Lerman).

TUESDAY

She-Hulk: Joining the She-Hulk cast are Finn Wittrock, Michael Richards, Himesh Patel and Paul Walter Hauser. Wittrock plays Dr. John Jameson, charming bachelor doctor whom Jenn develops a crush on. Richards will play Morris Walters, the father of Jenn (Jenny Slate), who grows weary of her Hulk persona. Patel will play a legal clerk at the rival firm and Hauser will play a bad guy Mary (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) falls for. Chad Taylor writes the script based on the Marvel characters. Phoebe Waller-Bridge produces.

Human: With the main cast complete, I have now learned that the show will shifted its focus during production on the two androids played by Justin Theroux and Letitia Wright. The scientists, played by Bryan Batt, Michelle Fairley and Adrian Rawlins will fall in supporting roles as the season goes along.

Hype: Dominic Wilkins and Stephen Merchant casted other talents for their crime dark comedy about the little mascot underworld. Charles Baker, Daveed Diggs, David Cross and Daniel Stern will join Seth Green, Alicia Silverstone, Gabriel Iglesias and Nick Swardson in the ensemble cast. After Dominic Wilkins encountered difficulties with the script, he made several adjustments that changed the tone of the series quite a bit.

WEDNESDAY

Showtime: The ever-expanding cast of Showtime just added Zoey Dutch, Stephen Root, Anna Gunn, Clayne Crawford, Tom Hopper, Alan Ritchson and Paul Rust to complete its ensemble cast. Clayne Crawford will play "The Superior" Brad Wolfe, a wrestler who doesn't accept the changes in the locker room in the midst of his midlife crisis. Hopper and Ritchson will play Tom and Don Jackson, two brothers who keep fighting no matter what, trying to forget a recent tragedy, while Paul Rust will play Loto the Evil Islander (Cooper Andrews)' manager, "Loudmouth" Dicky Ray. Dutch will play Brad Wolfe's sister, known as Sweet Tea, a newly hired valet in the promotion. Stephen Root will play the owner of Texas Championship Wrestling, while Anna Gunn's role remains unknown, but pivotal.

Miami Vice: The main cast will be back for a second season that will be shortened, going from 12 to 10 episodes

Rubber City Rockers: Joining Ross Lynch, Raymond J. Barry, Charlie Tahan and Logan Miller. will be Natalie Alyn Lind and Justin Long. Lind will play Teri Workman, a cheerleader at the school that the boys are crazy about, will Long's role remains unknown at the moment.

THURSDAY

Hitman: The series based on the video game series written by Dwight Gallo and produced by Francis Lawrence has added Ricardo Scamarcio and Franco Nero to its cast. Scarmarcio will play Giuseppe Guillani, a sicilian mafia mob, while Nero will play Father Emilio Vittorio.

La Maupin: In perhaps the most surprising move of the LRTV off-season, writer Ann Morrow and producer Michel Hazanavicius have announced that actress Lily Collins has been replaced in the lead role. The search for a lead actress has been tedious and they didn't feel like they had the right actress to play the role. A search for a new actress has begun and the whole problematic has set the production back. The show will become Last Resort Television's first ever miniseries with only six episodes set to air and for a debut closer to the midseason. Everyone else remains on board for the historical drama set in France.

That will be all for today and I just wanted to say that this was the last full episode of the James Morgan Show before the season begins, but I'll still post next Sunday with a little surprise !
